Really! I'm serious! I'm totally horse crazy and have 3 horses and a donkey, and I couldn't imagine what my life would be without them. I wake up and feed them, when I get off work I feed, ride, and care for them. I was just wondering what other people do with their everyday spare time. Like I get up at 6am and don't get to bed until 10pm or later. I need real answers, not something like PARTY! or anything like that. and yes I have friends, but they are horse crazy too and we often go riding together

Ick. I hate horses. I think this is because my sister was horse crazy, too, and tried to make me like them. I personally find them intimidating, and I'm reasonably afraid of their teeth and their hooves. I get zero pleasure in riding them (really, it's uncomfortable, dusty and miserable). I do see that they make great companions, though, especially considering that a horse can be with you for so many years...they listen and don't talk back, and they never give away your secrets!

Okay, so what do the rest of us do? Soooooo many things! On my list are: reading, swimming, playing tennis, playing computer games, spending time with my husband, daughter, parents and friends, cooking, hiking, snorkeling, occasionally drinking, eating out, shopping, decorating, petting my cats, painting, crafting, volunteering, "babysitting" my niece and nephew, sewing, and especially, trying something new!

The list is very long, but that's one of the beautiful things about life as we know it, I suppose. Good thing for you there's horses. Good thing for me there's something else!

I have 300 horses, believe it or not. They are all contained under the hood of my car. :) They are very convenient because I get up at 7 a.m. and drive to work. At 3:15 pm I jump back on my saddle or some people call it the driver seat and drive back home. At four o'clock I park it in the barn or to some people the garage. I go in my house prepare dinner and tomorrows lunch clean the house and prepare the lesson plans for the following day. Around nine or so I jump in the shower and around 9:30 I check my e-mail answer a few questions and then hit the hay.....I mean go to bed.

My sister and mother are horse crazy too, they both have several equines. We don't have any and don't really want any, we have two small children instead. Horses are fine for some people, but for most people they are a luxury of time and money that doesn't make the daily list of things to have.

find a friend (or make a new one if you don't have anyone who fits the bill) with hair about the same length as your horse's mane. part their hair down the center of their head, and do up one side of the part with braids. The part simulates the crest of the horse's neck - just ignore the hair on the far side. They probably won't want to be seen in public until the braids are out. As a bonus, if your friend is a horsey person, and you have a good quantity of hair, they can practice on you as well.

Unfortunately everyone isn't as privileged as you to have 3 horses and a donkey. I love horses too, but I don't have any yet. Too many other obligations to take care of first, like caring for my 4 children and my husband. But someday we will have our horses too. I grew up around them and so did my husband. My father-in-law was a professional Bull Rider. He actually passed away last February, and we are going to borrow some horses from a friend and take his ashes up in the mountains and scatter them where he used to ride. That was his last wish. He wasn't able to ride, before he died, as he had emphysema. But you do have a great hobby, and love for horses. Good for you! :O)

I have not seen a horse for a long time now and we use bikes and cars for travelling. By the way, if people are crazy with the horses, is it true they use it for perversion.
