I think they are unique and beautiful and people are always thinking that every Black person has a ghetto name. Well, my brother is named Bryan, my sister is Jasmine, and my Brother is named Wallace and my name is Ayita with is Native American and everyone thinks it's ghetto.

Okay, my grandmother was telling me that behind closed doors white men and non-Blakc men always seem to lust after Black women and seemed to be ashmend to be with him. The only reason why she says this because she was married to a white man before my grandfather while she was in New York in the 50s. All my family members have been openly objected me marrying a non-black man because they claim that they only want sex from a Black woman. But m,y brother went out with at least 2 white girls and non one said anything. Why are there so many double standrads with Black women dating or marrying outside their race?

It's endemic is it not?
And anyone who says they are not prejudiced in any way, against anyone, is a liar!
I have been the butt of prejudice and it hurt. But I lived to tell the tale.
'Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me" My dear old Mum used to say. And she was right.
So lets stop all this PC Crap and let it all hang-out......
They do in Thailand and it takes the sting out of it, believe me.

And then they get cranky when they get mistaken for Americans abroad.

Can we drop the tired gun control, health care difference?

English Canada the only culture you have is hockey and the cold, and you have to admit that sad reality.

Now what are you going to do about it?

I suggest turn off the t.v. and just say no to American franchises and show some self respect!

I've grown so annoyed at people asking me what I am before my name. I've come up with a regular answer for them;
"I don't like answering that question because you only asked it so you could apply extra labels to me and stereotype me."
Of course they always claim that they won't stereotype me. But think about it. For what reason would my race matter if they weren't automatically going to apply labels to me?

If I said I was Hispanic they might assume I spoke Spanish, if I were Italian I might be a good cook. If I were mixed I would be a good catch for the black guys. If I were black I wouldn't be good enough for a white guy.

People apply standards to race, we all do. But I'm tired of people not realizing they do so. We associate certain characteristics with certain races without even knowing it. Whenever they claim they don't, I tell them I know they do because I'm a psy major and have studied the subject. But they still deny it.

Does this happen to any of you?

haters of religion as well as black people?

the cross is used as a religious symbol in many faiths, and burning it not only effects religious black people, but they are also been disrepectful to members of their own race who are religious.

do the religious people find that act offensive!

In a society where we can freely debate the existence of God and the significance or lack of in our lives, why is any critical discussion of the Holocaust one of the very few subjects that are completely forbidden (punishable by law is some countries)?
Surely Jewish people are not blaspheming themselves or their history to be more sacred or off-limits than God's?

You know if they'd call me by my proper title then maybe I'd be more willing to help out this world. But I think I'll steal and lie and make a mockery of everything in the world instead because "they" are unwilling to do everything MY way.

Think the ACLU would back me in a law suit on this one?

p.s. next week I'll let you know what the politically correct term of the week is so that you can expect my continued efforts to improve society. ;)

The Times, London has slagged off Wayne Rooney for spending a bomb on a shopping spree in New York City. They chastized his excess because they said it was equal to the GNP of some starving African country.

LOL!

Whose fault is it? His spending or their charging??????????

Stuff which used to cost £10 now costs £100. It is called greed and has more to do with the seller than the buyer. The UK and USA too have become money-mad and many businesses are owned by the multinationals. The product stinks and the prices are extreme.

In the 1970s you could get a hotel room in London, with a full English breakfast, for about £15. Some of the skyscraper hotels used to offer rooms (which they did not sell) at hugely discounted rates. Not true today. With multinational ownership you don`t even get an English breakfast. So b****** Renee Zellwegger with her `craving` for beans on toast.

In the 1980s I rented a flat next door to Lloyd-Weber which cost £240 pcm.

Ah wilderness!
