Are there any tribes out there who would be willing to allow me to live my dream. I am being serious here and i would do all in my power to be a worthwhile member of the tribe. I know im not native but if anyone out there is willing to help i would be eternally gratefull. Peace and respect.

As a person of partial first nations lineage, I must tell you that you are indeed naive and are buying into a romanticized and unrealistic notion. No matter what your race, humans are humans no matter where you go, capable of the best and the worst inclinations possible.

I appreciate your intentions, but must warn you that you are in for a harsh eye opening reality if you pursue this endeavour. I have seen many non-natives with the same ideals as yourself come and go, and on the outset, seem to be treated with some sort of "acceptance" and are "adopted" into a tribe. Believe me, what is said and done behind closed doors is far from what you'd imagine and people like yourself are often the laughing stock: Think "Dances With Wolves (Kevin Costner)" or "Indian Wannabe" etc.

You may need to realize that your dreams, while with an open heart and mind, are nothing more than that...just a dream.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but any honest person will tell you that you're chasing shadows and stereotypes...There are those that will exploit your desires, and these are sometimes, without your knowledge, be some of the worst offenders out there...There's often NOTHING "spiritual" or "wholesome" nor sincere about people that put up fronts of being "culturally or spiritually wise" etc. While this statement to you may not be popular, but I cannot abide false fronts or phoniness from anyone (being those that would string you along), but it is the TRUTH, and although speaking the truth may not win me any popularity points, it's still the truth, and stands strong when all the illusions have been swept away by everthing else...Find fullfillment within yourself, be the best person you can be at all times, for life is too short: Love and laugh while you can no matter where you are! Do this, from the most genuine parts of your heart, and then it's the REAL thing!

Head up to the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana, USA with a case of whiskey, or better yet an ounce of crank, and you will be smoking the glass peace pipe in no time. You might have be hanged by the nips with eagle talons and be a man called "crankwhorese." Good luck white eyes!

As our old adage goes " Always the other bank of the river looks green". Where ever you go it is the "you" the same person who goes. The peace and respect that you seek is within you and not out side of you please.
