Because we're idiots who are incapable of learning.
In my experience it's best to steer well clear of love. It just ain't worth the blood and tears.

Because sometimes it doesn't.
Not that I would know because I've never been in love. I've been married and had long relationship, but never loved anyone. Maybe not everyone is capable of it.
And I don't believe in that saying, It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
What a load of rubbish.
If you have never loved then you will never have to endure that pain and heartache that comes with loss.

It takes a sturdy coronary heart to love even though it takes an better coronary heart to proceed to love after that's been harm. Love is so susceptible ! Love is blind and love could be silly. Our coronary heart does not consistently love the main surprising guy or woman on the main surprising time. in specific circumstances we harm those that love us the main and in specific circumstances we like those that don't deserve our love in any respect. you would be able to properly be in love with the super element approximately somebody, yet undergo in ideas that finally you would be able to desire to stay with the character, no longer the sweetness. Falling in love is basic. yet staying in love is very specific !

Because humans are sociable animals and need the comfort of another in their life. It's in our nature to search for "love". It's not really something you can switch on and off.
