I had a female friend before named "Dominique" and now I have met another guy with the same name and spelling. I mean in general or what is meant to be.

Is it a unisex name? lol

I was found guilty of a crime ten years ago but I know I was innocent. The offence will have a lasting effect on my life. Now the college that I want to apply for wants to know the circumstances of my crime. Almost every one thinks you are guilty regardless of your story. How do I explain this to them without sounding like one of those people who proclain innocents even though they are guilty. I what my point to be heard without sounding like a guy dening what the jury found. " I've heard it said that every body in prison says their innocent" I don't want to sound like one of those.

Toothless and overweight, the OECD statistics do not lie - or do they?

If you had the choice - would you marry an English woman? Or do you think that they are as ugly as so many say?

I look forward to reading al of your answers with great relish!

Why is it ok for a black man to use the word 'ni**er' on tv, yet not ok for a white man?

surely if a word is offensive, it matters not who says it?

If you believe that your 'god' is the one and only 'true god' why do you feel the need to argue with people of other faiths ? If you believe that you are on the right path, isn't that all that matters ? And who are you to argue which path people should choose ?

Is there a 'wrong path' in life ? or do you agree that mistakes enlighten us to 'truth' ?

Sorry, not sure of the most correct way to phrase this question, but a New Zealander friend has been saying that there are no "full-blood" maori people left. Obviously maori people and culture survive and thrive, but are there really no people left who have complete direct ancestry from maori tribes on both sides of their family??

dont you realize that!? Ladies, your hair is beautiful, stop letting people who dont understand our hair tell you that your hair is nappy. Sure, we put relaxers and scalp conditioners on our hair, but our hair is beutiful natural as well. Be proud of your hair. As long as you take care of it, you don't have to be shamed!

btw, there is nothing wrong with hair extensions, if that is what you want to do, so be it!

Here's the deal: I don't like wearing black or lots of makeup (I know this stuff is stereotyping and I'm sorry) but I do like a lot of books and music that are classified as goth -- 4AD, Rasputina and the Cure and things like that in terms of music, and early gothic novels, poetry and horror of pretty much any kind in terms of books. I've also found that, when looking for friends, goths and I usually get along pretty well -- we tend to have the same interests and similar cultural references. But, like I said, I don't like dressing in "typical" gothic fashion and I don't have much interest in going to clubs. What does this make me? And, really, does it matter?

I was just wonderin whenever i hear slang about dawgs and what not, and trying to learn Russian, and listening to the sounds certain words make, and i kinda think that we Americans have weird words. ie, pelican, rooster, hot dog, movie, caca peepee, slang, Boo, cuz, cheeze, cantaluope, why do we look at a four legged animal with a main and a long neck a HORSE, like hurry fast....look....horse did u miss it, and then look at a cow and watch it Not move and then see its mouth move in a o formation, then we copy and put sound to it and get CCCOOOWWW.

From our childhood, we are asked questions like

What is our favorite color. What is our favorite movie genre. Do you believe or not believe in god.

When given a limited number of choices, we feel pressured to choose one to be able to define ourselves and appear assertive.

I personally think some questions in life do not and cannot be answered because 1, we do not have enough information and 2, when our choices are limited, our decision is not based on logic but by what feels right.

What is your opinion?

I am going as a Dominatrix for Halloween this year. I was trying to find some thigh high boots to go with my outfit. I have no ideas other than a riding crop and a spiked choker. How else does the dominatrix look? Can I have long black curly hair or do I have to have short butch type hair? Black nails or red? What kinds of things should I say? I am going to be this because I have no idea what they are about.. (I am the more submissive/equal type) I thought this would be fun to step "outside of the box" but husband thinks I'm gonna look like ****, any suggestions so I don't look slutty..(I already bought the costume from ebay and it is probably short). Thanks :)

I had never showered in school and I played basketball through all of high school and college.

In HS practice was our last class of the day, so I showered at home. In college, I waited until I got back to my dorm or hotel room, if it were a road game.

It wasn't until I went to Marine bootcamp that I was forced to strip down & shower in front of another man. At first, you think all eyes are on you, then you realize everyone is feeling the same way and you get use to it.

I did have the same feeling the first time I showered at my gym. It went away pretty quickly. I figured none of the guys at the gym knew me outside of the gym, so who cares. But, it comes back if I have to shower infront of somebody I know outside the gym.

Strange huh?
