I am going as a Dominatrix for Halloween this year. I was trying to find some thigh high boots to go with my outfit. I have no ideas other than a riding crop and a spiked choker. How else does the dominatrix look? Can I have long black curly hair or do I have to have short butch type hair? Black nails or red? What kinds of things should I say? I am going to be this because I have no idea what they are about.. (I am the more submissive/equal type) I thought this would be fun to step "outside of the box" but husband thinks I'm gonna look like ****, any suggestions so I don't look slutty..(I already bought the costume from ebay and it is probably short). Thanks :)

Dominatrix are professional Mistress's, which is different than a lifestyle Mistress. If you want to look like a professional, you've got a good start. Wear your hair down, if its long. Wear severe makeup, with red lips and nails. You can get thigh high boots at any adult toy store, or online. However wearing thigh highs with stiletto pumps is sexier than boots. Be aloof and reserved, I wouldn't say anything. However you want to perfect the glare of death, the look that will wither a man in his boots.

You could wear a corset.
As to what to say, just make sure they are always commands, and never questions.
As for the rest, whatever you want. Short hair, long hair, black nails, red... it's all at her majesty's pleasure :)

That makes no sense. You want to be a Dom and not look slutty. You are missing the whole point. Pick something else. You're not cut out for that costume.

I'm a guy, and privately, I don't like long nails. We know a lot of like lengthy, painted nails cause they're "so pretty", but I don't like them.
