That is a terrible stereotype. No is the answer, before I start my rant.
Just because you're a little darker and a little sadder does NOT mean that you're going to cut!
The only ones that do that generally have really bad problems,
or a little bit of a mental issue, which is NOT something to make fun of
no one that could ever make fun of things like that knows what it's like
so as a general answer,
emo's can be cutters, but not all cutters are emo

That's streotypical thinking, to me. not all Emo kids cut thereselves. They have other ways to deal with whatever they have to deal with. So, basically, No they aren't
