With all the talk about "too many immigrants" and this being land that belonged to Native Americans (which includes those from Central and South America)... have you ever considered that all the technology and conveniences that make USA what it is... probably would not be here if not for colonization? What do you think?

Department of Justice statistics for 2004 indicate that a large number of inmates are illiterate in language and math. Recidivism is the major reason for the increase in prison populations. Do you believe that educational programs for the incarcerated have value to them? If so what? If not why? Can educational programs reduce recidivism? If so how? If not why not?

I'm what they (the gov.) call a American Indian, although I've never referred to my self as such I've just always call myself an Indian. All I want to know is do you call yourself black or a African American?

And oh yeah! I am not racist. If fact my bf is black (He don't call himself an African American).

Episode: Jewish mother and Christian mother swaped for a week.

I found this show very difficult. I try to view everything without being biased. It is hard to remember when I was 17 as the southern boy took very much offense to everything. I compare how I would react and I think I would have been more polite and open to new ideas.

I don't disagree with the Jewish mother about hunting but I think burnt offerings could be comparable in nature. Understood hunting and offerings to God are VERY different but I also understand other things not recognized in the Talmud in modern day. I feel if you can edit things due to modern age that is written as oral law you should be more open and understanding when it comes to the Jewish children. I saw their eyes were very open when the southern mother talked of dancing and social situations.

I was watching I belive the History chan. earlier today and they had a special on Hitler and the Occult and the show went on to mention how Hitler and the S.S. went on to shut down any and every organization that was at all believed to be occultic,gnostic,etc. I would be interested in knowing what some of the smaller less known and assumingly defunct groups were named. Maybe a quick overview if you know about any of them.

I just aksed the following question...
I am from England and am moving to the US soon, what do Americans think of Britts? but alot of people misunderstud what I asked. Let me make it clear that I don't think that American's thinks britts are fem or our accents are sexy or even that its going to be like ''Austin Powers'' and I'll have women dropping at my feet. Its an open question and I am simply trying to get the general jist of the type of reception I will get. Will they all hate me because of the tea thing (which by the way is a complete myth). Considered white in America and went through lots of discrimination. I am talking about Southern Italians here. We even were lynched by some groups in Louisiana..... We never had privilege. We were not considered white until the mid 20th century... and now whites get discriminated against. My people have been discriminated for being white and not white. How exactly do I have privilige here? Whites are made fun of on tv and by media and rapped against and all these anti white groups allowed to surface/ Meanwhile my ancestors never had anything good.

I am really interested in last names and how their endings are linked to their nationalities. For example, "uk" is usually for Ukrainiuns, while "ous/us" is usally for Greek. What are some other types for different nationalities? For Swedish, Italian, French, etc.

I was at a mosque and i over heared a dude siting next to me he was talking to another person and trust me i heared correct he said he was a pure blood indians but by looking at him you would think he was a directly from africa he had all the elements of a black person execpt his hair and i dont no he may have got is hair permed but do you no what tribe a black indians and other facts about this subject.........
