People have very limited ideas about what being exotic means. A person from Eastern Europe can be every bit as exotic as someone from Taiwan. I think most people are exotic in some way. Or at least they would be exotic if they were on the other side of the world.

Well, I personally choose to be colorblind when it comes to exoticness (among other things), but I guess that not everyone feels the same way.

Exotic is defined as "strikingly unusual or strange in effect or appearance". That can apply to people of ALL races and from ALL countries. White Americans certainly aren't exempt from this, just as not all nonwhites and non-Americans can necessarily be considered exotic.

My freshman year of college, a girl from Cameroon stopped me and asked if she could touch my hair, because she had never seen a (natural) redhead before. I think this proves that yes, it is possible for white Americans to be considered exotic.

It's a pity really, some whites are exotic, but they usually are from European countries. What makes an ndividual exotic?............it all has to do with the differences in culture, beliefs, religious systems, dressing, that the other person has grown up with.

Unfortunately, more whites than not especially Americans have absolutely no defined culture. Thus they are almost never perceoved as exotic.

If you live in North America you've just answered your own question. Anglo-Saxon is the predominant race, therefore white can not be unique, different, i.e.exotic. However if you live in Jamaica maybe they just don't feel you have that exotic look.

American white woman cannot be equaled. They(whites are disliked) hate things or people who are not only superior in brains, but looks too.America is on top of everything,so all you other people will just have to lump it!!! We are great and always always, always will be!Whites are the most exotic women if they are American!

Because when people think of whites, they mostly think of Americans...which suck, in contrast to Europeans which can be wonderfully exotic.
