I think that you should get a hobby and a life! no one is offended by your ignorance so there is no need to say sorry, but you should work on your morals and your outlook on life it would help you to become a better person.

Humor is a manifestation of the soul. Many have made fun of people of different persuasions, racial/ethnic groups, gender, and other classifications. If you're concerned about falling into a certain mode of thinking, you might want to consider the company you keep. Often our friends, some of which may make racial slurs and jokes are influencing us. You might mention to them to discontinue such. Also, there are programs available through the state that train people in ethnic sensitivity. You might want to check into that. Or, walk into the public library and ask a research librarian if he/she recommends any titles. It's pretty standard that a librarian has a Master of Science in Library Science and would know or could find out if there are such works available.
We live in a cultural mosaic which, as we all know, is changing and diversifying more and more as we speak. It's getting rather apparent that we must all co-exist and cooperate with each other regardless of our race, culture, or national origin. It's good for our peace of mind, but it's also become essential for business and survival.

apologize profusely. repent. say a hail mary. kiss some ***. put an ad in the paper saying how you're an idiot. pay reparations. return tribal land. allocate the forty acres and a mule. stop pretending that japanese internment camps did not exist. believe that the holocaust was and is real. stop calling immigrants from mexico "aliens".
