It's hard to have a conversation about a lot of things with my family and friends. They just don't get me or have diferrent points of view. But when I talk to lesbians they totally understand and I can really relate to them. That's why I prefer talking to them.

Not everyone knows about my sexuality,so I can't really talk about my love life or stuff relating to lesbians to my family or friends.

Sometimes I really disagree with them, and sometimes I get pissed talking to them. They just don't get me! Like how my mom and friends say lesbians are just confused and hasn't found the right guy. I object!!! Totally disagree!!! Not just that but so many other stuff I really disagree with.

So,what I'm trying to say is,I feel that (not all but some) some people don't understand lesbians. Or is it that we have diferrent points of view.(yeah,I think that's it)

Or is it just me?

Ok, I'm a 16 year old male, and last week I came out to my older brother (who is 20). He was very supportive and offered to come home for a week just to chilll with me (he is away at school). So then today, I decided I had enough of a security net (aka my brother) to come out to my mom (who is a PhD. Child psychologist.). I finally mustered up the courage, told her. She then gave me a disgusted look and then a huge smile and a hug, and then she said something to the effect of this: "You don't think I already knew that?! I'm so happy for you! and so on..."

Ok, considering she is has a PhD in psychology specializing in teens/children, it's pretty obvious that she has psychoanalyzed me to no end, I don't have a problem with it, and that would also explain how she knew. But where my problem lies is what to say to her. She (along with my dad and brother) are behind me 100%. How can I bring it up with her and thank her and my family?

I am a guy.
I am not interested at all in having a long term relationship/commitment with a guy. Sometime I just want to have a sexual experience with them and see what's it's like.
Other than that, I can see myself only in a commitment with a female.

I think this could be due to my child hood when I was 10 and 11 years old and sexually expirimented with a friend and liked it.

I'm a junior in highschool, and lately we have been talking about all the differnt scholarships that are available. The thing that is brought up most is the fact that there isn't a scholarship for being "white". Umm why should there be? I'm not racist, I'm actually African American and "white". I'm very proud of both my ethnicity's. So don't even go there. I would like everyones oppinion on "white" scholarships.

In this day and age is it really that big of a deal?In my opinion it doesn't make them any more or less than a person. I know there is still a big debate about gay rights and gay marriage in this nation. I say who cares?

I asked a lady out, she dresses very conservative, never talks about guys and when I sent her some flowers she seemed happy but nervous.

She declined my invite for a date and so I told her I accepted and respected her decision. A few weeks later she told me to forget the whole thing so I thought everything was cool.

A few weeks later (3 months after I asked) she blew up at me for no reason and now seems to ignore me. I've been told that she is gay and I know she has several gay friends. I didnt know this when I asked.

Is it normal for a gay lady to blow up when asked by a straight guy? Why couldnt she just move on when I told her I was cool?

I am straight and married...I love everyone...no matter what sexual orientation they are. But I have always wanted to know...why are men gay and women lesbians. What makes you decide who to be with? What in that person are you attracted to??? i don't want to sound ignorant, but If I want to know...why not ask the Experts, right??

and if you're going to say something mean about gays or lesbians...please dont comment...I dont want to start a war

My vote goes to Heddy Lamar. She stared in one of the first films with a nude scene AND helped beat the Nazis.

Is it caused because we don't understand a culture. Or is it because we have full knowledge of a culture but we still find them susceptible to hatred.

I sent my friend (a lesbian) a text message jokingly asking her if she considered herself a "vagetarian". She hasn't called back...do you think it made her mad? Would that offend you or just make you laugh?

I got circumcised just over 2 months ago, and was hoping to get in touch with men who did the same. I'm 25 by the way, so I've experienced life on the 'uncut' side, now on the cut side. So I guess my question is, were you circumcised as an adult (like, at least 16?) and if so would you be interested in sharing experiences? I'm kinda new to being this way so would love anyone to email me and get in touch.
Thanks!

i truly adore women and the feminine mystique. i am not gay and the masculine form does not attract me. i rely on clued in genetic women to lead me down the feminine path. is this really thqt wrong? ideally i require helpful responses from the transgender world and sympathetic genetic gals.
