if shes uncomfortable about being a lesbian than she could have taken it offensively...
honestly id have laughed cause that sounds like something my best friend would do...but it really depends on your friend. try calling her and telling her it was a joke and that your sorry.

I don't think so, but, I'm not a lesbian... I ask my vegetarian friends all the time how long the have been veterinarians. Haha. if it's any consolation I thought your remark was funny.
