A cousin of mine has never told anyone but everyone knows because on his facebook, myspace, etc, he puts Bisexual instead of straight. I think it's great. Nobody has said anything to him about it or acted differently towards him but they all know. I'm not saying that you will be so lucky, though. People may talk but if you're lucky, not to your face.

I have told the ones who are most important to me that I'm gay. For anyone else, if someone asks me if I'm gay, I'll tell the truth. If not, it's not anyone's business who I'd prefer to be intimate with.
When I tell someone, I try to pick a time when it's just the person I want to tell and myself around.
In most cases, I find it very liberating to tell people who are important to me that I am gay. It brings a sense of honesty and trust into a relationship because these people know me better and many felt honoured that I trusted them enough to tell them the truth about myself.
I wish you luck as you come out to your friends and family about you being bi.

You're sexual orientation is your business. If they ask, tell them honestly, depending upon the situation. I mean, do you want the whole world to know? many people are against it and that could really work against you. I wouldn't OFFER the info, but be honest about it. That's always the best policy. If they don't like it, too bad!

Totally agree with the previous answer, why do you need to tell anyone. I went through the stage when I came out of wanting to tell everyone I am gay!!! I became so obsessed with it. Then I realised i only need to tell people who matter to me. Not every tom dick and harry!!!

well first youve got to realise that YOUR NOT ALONE ok, and its perfectly normal why be bothered>???? if you keep thinking in your head all the time, "anyone who wont except me for who i am well isnt really worth knowing at all really!!!!" then you should be fine. come out now though beefore the stress makes you ill and depressed then you might keep it a secret forever and never feel truly happy. good luck chuck

Why do you feel the need to define yourself by your sexuality? Learn to be more comfortable in your skin. What difference does it make to who you are anyway?
