I asked a lady out, she dresses very conservative, never talks about guys and when I sent her some flowers she seemed happy but nervous.

She declined my invite for a date and so I told her I accepted and respected her decision. A few weeks later she told me to forget the whole thing so I thought everything was cool.

A few weeks later (3 months after I asked) she blew up at me for no reason and now seems to ignore me. I've been told that she is gay and I know she has several gay friends. I didnt know this when I asked.

Is it normal for a gay lady to blow up when asked by a straight guy? Why couldnt she just move on when I told her I was cool?

These don't really seem terribly related ...
I love it when guys ask me out - (cruel, I know)
it's a buzz being fancied - and the expression when I tell them why not (ooh, I'd love to - if only I were straight - but I'm lesbian darling!!) is usually priceless!!

I can't think (from what you've told us) WHY she would blow up at you...
I should just forget it if I were you.
Hope this helps!

As a trans lady I do in reality know far greater approximately adult males than i might somewhat like! As a guy i replace into continuously rapidly and estimated to be rapidly in my new gender, whether weighing issues up lesbianism starts off to sound very captivating!!

Well, i think she might have been having a bad day and you were someone to take it out on...ive been asked out by straight guys, and if i blow up...i usually do it the same day, not three months later. Though, generally, no we dont blow up...unless said man is inappropriate.

Im sorry this happened to you, and i hope this doesnt change your veiw on lesbians.

It can make gay women uncomfortable when asked out by men, just as it would make a straight women uncomfortable if she were to be asked out by a woman. dont take it too personally. Try talking to her, but don't make it sound like an attack...keep it casual.

maybe shes scared because she has confusing feelings about you, maybe she likes you as a friend but is worried its more? she may be trying to sever contact with you as she doesn't want to be attracted to a guy, shes happy being a lesbo, Ive been in this situation before and it was not nice, in the end I had to cut contact with the guy

She was insulted, she didn't want to be asked out by a guy...if word got out she'd been asked out by a guy it might ruin her image of being a lesbian and jepodise her chances with other women.
