Despite the fact that I didn't really try to develop a strong friendship with anyone at work, I have become quite close to a colleague.

He used to call me, and arrange for us to go out. We were clearly getting close and more affectionate with each other.

I don't understand what happened, all of a sudden he stops talking to me. I know it's over, and I am very angry about this and I am starting to hate him in a way, yet deep down I still have feelings for him.
How do i get over him?

Okay i dont know if this is just my family but my mother has used the excuse "Oh it's just a phase" or "HORMONES!" just about every single time the subject of my sexuality has come up. My question is this... Will my parents (especially my mother) ever grow out of that crappy excuse? or Is there a certain age when teenage hormones stop "screwing up" my sexuality (again quoting my mother)? I think it is just my mother's way of coping with this whole thing but SHE was the one that nearly forced me into tell her I was gay 4 years ago (im 18 now). since i was going through some serious crap with depression back then my mother eventually got this idea that my father, uncle, aunt, or some random guy molested me or some crap so I had no way of pushing the question off to the side. I had to tell her i was gay. when i told her she said "That's it?" and then stopped talking to me for about a week. I just dunno when my mother will stop using that lame excuse. Any ideas?

Gay right acctivists were attack by members of the public in Mascow yesterday for trying to convince the mayor for having a Gay Pride. After being attacked the victims were then arrested by the police. I feel disgusted by their behaviour and will never visit Russia.

A bloke i spoke to a couple of weeks ago said i shouldnt push my ex girlfriend and that i should let her get on with the other thing whatever she is at, and see if she comes back to me.

Thats easy said, but like i told him the other person is a girl! and my ex says she wants to experiment, i think i know her pretty well and she says shes bi, but the girl shes having this thing with instigated it and i think my ex is just confused as she says she loves this person. We still love each other, and went together near three years and its obvious to me and her that wer still in love, but she says she has feelings for two people now.

I feel like Ross out of Friends with his X!

What a situation!

I know this is stupid, but how come you like someone a lot even if you just met them on Myspace, and only for a few days? It happened to me :'(... I met this really cool guy on Myspace, we messaged each other back each day, he ended up giving me his number. So I called him, he called me back 2 days after I left a message. We ended up talking for hours, and we really hit it off! Neither of us are looking for a relationship, just friendship, which I'm fine with. We talked every night for 5 days, but he hasn't called me back or even called for 3 days now. I know it's too soon to be worrying about something stupid like this, but it's how I feel. I see him get on Myspace everyday though. I called him last night, but he didn't call me back yet. Is he ignoring me? Should I just forget about it? Thankx in advance.

If homosexuality is not a sin but gay sex is. What if two gay people make love not just sex and pleasure? Do they sin if they express their love for each other through sex?

i haven't come out yet
and no-one knows
but today, at school
a boy and some of his other friends and me we're talking blah blah
and then somehow they got onto the topic of homosexuals
(i started to become shifty here, uncomfortable)
but anyway, this boy said he'd decapitate and send "all the fags to hell". and the other boys all agreed.
and so i said "aren't you bieng homophobic"?
and then automatically they started teasing me about being a gay campaigner rights person. i was so angry at all of them.
they went on further saying very bad stuff about us homosexuals. like the story of the boy who was killed by gay bashers, they said he deserved it.
I felt sick and so i left.
they didn't even notice i left
thats how interested they are in killing gay people.

what i can't understand is the level of maturity, let alone even adults, (well im 17) have towards us homosexuals. what is going on in the world?! how can one live with such closemindedness?!!!

As far as I have seen, bisexual men prefer men more than women. I wont lay it hardcore that this is true for all Bi-men but is it the major trend if stats are drawn?

This person is alive, just not anywhere that I can reach her right now. Everything seems duller when she's not with me; it all feels a bit off, somehow. She cannot be here right now due to extenuating circumstances. I understand and accept this - but what to do when I miss her so much it becomes difficult to function? How do you all cope with missing a lover, a partner, a mate when you simply cannot be with them, at least not for awhile? She is all of these to me.

Please keep in mind that I am much more a homebody than anything else and going out to parties or clubs is just not my thing. I have friends, I do things, but every single thing pales in comparison to how I feel with her, how amazing she is, and how I wish we could be sharing these moments together. HELP! She is my heart.

(Yes, I know I'm lucky to have her at all. I ask because not getting to see her often just derails me sometimes. It's hard to function while I'm feeling so sad; it depletes my senses and grays my world).

just a litle background-me and pat are 16, best friends and i like him a lot. i also happen to think hes gay, but im not sure...
when i asked pat if he was gay, it took 40 mins for him to respond and when he finally did he said-"idk why you would ask that." then he said "are you serious...if i was gay do u think i would be interested in gina or ne other ppl on facebook?" then i said-"idk u tell me." pat-"wow that was real *** of u." then i apologized and said "it would be even more *** of u to not be friends with me over this petty discussion." pat-"hmm w.e." then later i said "if theres anyway i can make it up to u, tell me" pat-"Forget it." so now i guess everythings alright...is this how a straight guy would respond? i mean he was annoyed that i would even think that...

My family is active in organizations working for human rights and equality for GFBT people. Our local Pride Festival is coming up next month and my husband and I (we're straight), want our son to have a cute t-shirt about his support of gay people. My husband and I have the shirts that say "Stright but not narrow" and we want our son's to say something about his support, or he's undecided, or we love him no matter what, etc, etc, etc. I can't think of anything that would look good on a t-shirt and that isn't too long to read. Our friend said to just make it the same as our shirts, but technically, since he's 2, who knows if he's straight or gay, know what I mean? Anyone have any cute ideas?
