Yes I feel that if you believe in something like magic it does actually work. I do believe there is magic in the world. :)

well from a scientific point of view, in a way it does work, its real. now i wont say if there is some mystical force behind this or not.
but alot of recent studies on things like magic, demon possion and exorcism etc have proven physical(brain chemistry and brain waves) and phycological changes in the person, if that is because of a unknown force or if its the complex nature of the human phycey who knows. fact is. if you do a "self empowing" spell, you do become more confident etc, maybe its a placebo effect, like this professor said that people who beleive they are demon possesed are mentally ill, but if they have an exorcism, the delusion would force the person to say "the demon is out, im better" so you see it does work, whe just dont no how/why
