My family is active in organizations working for human rights and equality for GFBT people. Our local Pride Festival is coming up next month and my husband and I (we're straight), want our son to have a cute t-shirt about his support of gay people. My husband and I have the shirts that say "Stright but not narrow" and we want our son's to say something about his support, or he's undecided, or we love him no matter what, etc, etc, etc. I can't think of anything that would look good on a t-shirt and that isn't too long to read. Our friend said to just make it the same as our shirts, but technically, since he's 2, who knows if he's straight or gay, know what I mean? Anyone have any cute ideas?

(All negative and hateful answers will be reported, so keep that in mind.)

Procrastinators Anonymous... Join tomorrow! (It's an original, so if you use it, send me some. The really funny part is that I've been meaning to get a tshirt made with it for years.) Some favorites I've seen: Department of Redundancy Department Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself Camo T, text = "Ha! You can't see me!"

Why not have a small rainbow on the front of his shirt.

The rainbow is the sign for the 'gay community' at least from what I under stand. Its simple and cute. And it can be all glittery as well. Or gay friendly.

What about just putting something like... "I was born this way..." and leave it open as you don't know if he is straight or gay, yet.

Your question made me smile and I wish more people were as open and accepting as you. You and your husband are good people! I hope that mindset it contagious to some of the haters in here!

Thank you! :)

I like "Hate is not a family value," or the rainbow--or both!
Or, if you're willing to get it printed up custom:
"I {Heart} my parents."
with or without, perhaps much smaller:
"I'm 2 young 4 politics!"

i think its reprehensible that you are using your child as a signpost for your personal political views. He's 2, why would you take him to a gay pride parade?
