i haven't come out yet
and no-one knows
but today, at school
a boy and some of his other friends and me we're talking blah blah
and then somehow they got onto the topic of homosexuals
(i started to become shifty here, uncomfortable)
but anyway, this boy said he'd decapitate and send "all the fags to hell". and the other boys all agreed.
and so i said "aren't you bieng homophobic"?
and then automatically they started teasing me about being a gay campaigner rights person. i was so angry at all of them.
they went on further saying very bad stuff about us homosexuals. like the story of the boy who was killed by gay bashers, they said he deserved it.
I felt sick and so i left.
they didn't even notice i left
thats how interested they are in killing gay people.
what i can't understand is the level of maturity, let alone even adults, (well im 17) have towards us homosexuals. what is going on in the world?! how can one live with such closemindedness?!!!

Sorry for you pal, but, When I was in High, someone talked ( a former teacher by the way!) about homosexuality, and au contraire of a teacher would do, she (was a female) begun her speech with, God, Hate, Hell and other things. I Said clearly and Loudly: Just shut up, u do not know what r u talking `bout! so shut your ******** mouth! First you are a teacher, second, your a ******** handycap teacher (she was in a wheelchair) third, you`re a ******** nun! so, if u have sex before and you like boys, that`s ok with me, but if u never try a girl, so, please do not try to understand what u do not understand just `cause you`re such an ignorant Nun!. and then, 4 days later, this nun had to quit the college, my dad take care of that. thank you. (by the way, my twin brother, wasn`t gay, but he supported me a lot! Cheers!)

i'm very just about embarrassed to declare this, yet no i don't think of that i grow to be ever fairly homophobic deep down, yet I did placed on the act like i grow to be. i grow to be deeply closeted on the time, and knew that i grow to be gay, yet did not prefer to settle for it. I actually did not prefer anyone else to think of that i grow to be gay, and so I fell into taking part in the function of "homophobic at recent guy". It grow to be variety of camoflage in a manner, i assume. It deflected suspicion far flung from me. It worked for a whilst, till I have been given transferred to a clean branch interior the activity that I had, and that i worked for a god undesirable homophobe of a chairman. i stumbled on myself being under pressure mercilessly by this guy. long tale short, I have been given the prospect to go away that activity, and that i've got been engaged on accepting my orientation, and popping out totally for the final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. To this present day, i'm ashamed that I performed that function, and placed on an act like that. at that ingredient in my life, however, i did not understand what else to do. So, i glance back on that with a great variety of shame, yet you recognize what they say approximately hindsight. i'm going to never do this back, and that i might tell anyone who's gay and deeply interior the closet to not undertake that comparable act if a danger. additionally, i might tend to agree that the main vocal homophobes are probably gay, and that they are doing a similar forms of issues that I did, for a similar motives that I did them....this is an undesirable thank you to stay a life, and that i'm happy that i'm now working by using it.

Quite often phobias stem from insecurity. People will focus their insecurities and negative feelings about themselves onto people or percieved groups of people. At high school this can be literally anyone who as percieved as not conforming to the norm from the 'geek', to a Jew, to a disabled person. There is alot of people that can fall into the categories of not being normal, so much so it almost begs the question who is normal? I guess that really brings me to my point. Homophobia is just one of many insecurities that most people grow out of. Unfortunately some people carry it on into adulthood and there the potential danger lies!

Some of us were brought up to believe that a sexual act between two people of the same gender is perverse.
We got along comfortably with knowing what they did in the privacy of their own home was their business between two consenting adults.
But when it was brought out into the open it offended people who believe in the teachings of the church that this is wrong.
By allowing this to become a public spectacle, it also opens the doors for others who practice perverted sexual ideas to say "Well, why cant we practice pedophilia, homosexuals are allowed to practise their way."
As with the excuse "well homosexuality is to be found in the animal kingdom," we are supposed to have evolved to a higher form than animal.
A Pandoaras box has been opened, and if my comments offend, I am sorry, but I feel I have the right to respond, without ranting and raving as some do.

I think that they are expressing their own insecurities about their own sexuality. Also people happy within themselves don't go around belittling others...for no reason.
