What I mean is....why do men get looked down upon for loving one (usually a female) who has had a promiscuous past? I have a drug-disease-free girlfriend who has had quite a few (if I say so myself) intimate Love interests in her day. My friends, some of my family, and even some of her family and friends scold me for embracing her, despite her past. Should I care? Or am I really a "sucker for Love"? Regardless, I WILL be with her, but in the back of my mind, these questions persist, and that's why I'm asking you. ANYONE been with someone like that....or been in the same boots as mine? Just tell me something please? Does she deserve my love? I forgot to mention that she took my virginity. Does that matter?

I'm from Ontario, Canada but got a free ride at OSU. Ohio, from what I hear from Ohioans themselves, is pretty hickish and bleak. I looked at the site for gay groups and there are a couple. In one group there's only like 4 members.

Please answer on your city only. Don't answer on cities you don't live in. Is your city a safe place for a crossdresser or transgendered person to walk about? Go to night clubs, grocery shopping, resturants? Is there only an area of the city that is safe, or is the whole city a dangerous place to express alternate sexualities?

Ok I'm gonna make this short and sweet Iam a bisexual female and im in a relationship with a woman and im not out of the closet with my family and only a few of my friends know about me being this way well the female that i was or am involved with is questioning our relationship and saying that she doesnt know if she wants to continue with the relationship b/c im not out im not ready to do that with my family friends i dont care but my family is something different and she has been knowing about me not being out for at least 3 weeks and there was no problem now it is b/c her ex is back in town am i wrong to ask her to just have a little patience with me?i do have feelings for her its not love b/c we have only been dating for about a month maybe a month and a half what should i do?

around me because I speak mandarin and some of my best friends are chinese....But what I can not figure out (and this applies on many levels - black, white, gay, straight,...etc) is how can a person such as a gay person turn around and be prejudiced against anyone when they know what it's like?
I see it all the time. It's sort of like the same thing as when I worked in customer service...I would see fellow workers treating others in exactly the same rude way that people treated them. They of all people should know better.

Did you ever had a straight lady obsessed with you? So much so that you cringe when you're in the same room with her? I had one at work a few years ago and the tension level for me was so high no matter how much I told the powers that be about my conundrum, they were all straight and thought I should be flattered.
