I just found out that my friend is a homophobe. He said that he was hiding it from me. I have a lot of friends that are homosexual and I feel weird around him now. I don't want to be his friend anymore but I've known him for 4 years and people say that I am discriminating. Do u think that it is possible that me and him can remain friends?

I'm straight but I support the idea of gay marriage. If it came down to a vote, would you vote for gay marriage or against it?

A proposed law limits marriage to couples who can have children?
Ok, so here's the deal. Orthodox marriage is between a man and a woman. Same sex couples obviously can't procreate. So, according to this proposed law, if same sex couples are being discriminated against because of their inability to procreate, heterosexual couples who can't procreate within a certain time frame would have to have their marriages annulled? This was on CNN Headline News online. Your thoughts please.

I talked to some male friends about it. Most of them said they wouldn't. But some said they would. Their reasoning was that if women wanted equal treatment then we should hit them back when they hit us, it's only fair. What do you think?

My Pastor suggested that homosexuality may in fact be a form of demonic possesion- If its true, its a shocking thing, becuse its means satan has many agents waklking among us-How can we drive out these demons? If a homosexual gives his heart to Jesus, I'm convinced that would drive out the homo-demon. Notice how most homosexuals are athiests? By rejecting God's light, they basically open themselves up to Satan's inluence

I'm serious here and I know this will annoy all the heteros -- male & female -- who come here solely to harrass gay people but really: define your worth to the culture and society in general. Some may call it a dystopia but a world where straight males are the minority sounds perfect to me. And when they make the movie, I want Almodovar to direct.

Why are so many people against gay/lesbian people? Why is it so bad for them to marry? What makes it morally wrong? Where in the bible does it say not to be gay? I just don't get why this is such an issue...I'm heterosexual but I can't see why we are treating gays as second class citizens...Can anyone explain why?

I am curious about the possibility of people becoming completely genderless. That would include hormone therapy to balance estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, as well as the complete removal of ALL genitalia. This is not the same as a sex change (gender reassignment). Where can I find information about the matter? There doesn't seem to be any out there, but I'm certain people have done it. Please note, just a hystorectomy (in the case of a woman) would not be a complete gender Deassignment, as the outer sexual organs would also have to be removed, as well as the vagina. (Same with men and castration, they'd have to lose their outer genitalia as well, and also the prostate.) So, if you know where to find this info, please post it here! No religious BS....I just want medical info.

I am gay, but my parents are very strict Christians who don't respect gay people at all. I have had gay sex and I am not questioning my sexuality, so I have no "straight" tendencies that I can attempt to disguise my sexuality through to my parents. How do I tell my parents that I am gay and that I date women.

I really have absolutely no clue as to what to say, and I know I am rambling. But, I feel that I need to tell someone, but there isn't anyone for me to tell. I don't really have close friends at school. I support gay rights and gay rallies and forums at my school, which I would have hoped would have given someone a hint to no avail. Does anyone have any similar situations? I would love some feedback. And, I apologize for not cuttting to the point, this is something that has really been bothering me.

my question really,
is there a group of people fighting for the GLBTI rights
do they need help?
and can small people like me help in some way
i feel the equal rights of all GLBTI people are in need to be fought
as all people are equal and should be treated that way

For me it is unnatural. I don't see the need to have someone or some group to fear or belittle. I don't understand the mindset of some who feel righteous or validated by denigrating others. Don't they see that by doing so they only negate their principles? People can be weird when it comes to rabid belief systems but what I don't understand is how they justify taking their beliefs and putting it into actions at in essence is an attempt to force others in their vicinity into a one way their way sytem of being? Aren't we all here and don't we all need to get along for the betterment of the less fortunate amongst us all? Isn't that the basis of just about every mainstream monotheistic faith? Isn't that just plain old good manners?

I have my husband with 2 sons, but I feel unhappiness because I found I was in fact a lesbian after I lived with my husband for 4 years . To find my true love, I join one great lesbian dating club(http://www.ldate.com/i/b)...... and incredible that I found my soul mate about one month later. She also love me very much. We had a great online chat and I could not wait to have a chat with her face to face. After having a face to face chat with her, she said she could not live without me, she wanted me to marry her asap. I also would like to marry her, but should I desert my husband and two sons? Please tell me how to deal with the problem, I am really in a bad mood and do not know how to do.
