I talked to some male friends about it. Most of them said they wouldn't. But some said they would. Their reasoning was that if women wanted equal treatment then we should hit them back when they hit us, it's only fair. What do you think?

My personal opinion is this:

Once she hits me she stops being a "lady" and all's fair.

I'll deck the b*tch.

In a fracking heartbeat.. In fact I can pretty much guarantee they would go WTF? when they woke up in the ER.. I absolultly will break anyones jaw and ribs that hits me first.. Gender is not a consideration anymore.. Took me awhile to learn that.. Xwife thinking she could beat the crap outta me 6 times when i did nothing.. 7th time.. Umm yeah she was suprised when she regained conciousness and was able to get off the floor ...(and took 3 months to recover completly from the broken bones)

Legally and by cop even I was in the right

You hit me.. I dont care what sex you are.. I will deffinatly nail you as hard and as fast as i can... You wanna be equal? So be it... You wanna claim I'm just a girl? OK.. but then act like Im just a girl.. you arent getting it both ways outta me...

Who ever you are.. male or female.. dont expect you can hit me and not be hit back.. because thats a BIG mistake.. In fact its my abject policy to hit and REALLY hurt any one that does it to me first (I'll make it a memory that will last longer than any Kodak moment) You dont attack me.. I wont counter attack.... isnt that simple?

I've been in this situation. The first hit is a warning, the second is an attempt at restraining, the third forced me to punch her lights out until she was unconscious. No one trys to pull a gun on me, I don't care how drugged out they are. Next time it happens I will skip the warning and go straight to the attempt to restrain. I will not go through that again.

I would do what a woman should do in that instance.

HIT BACK by calling the POLICE, have her arrested and press assault charges.

So, she would have a police arrest record for the rest of her life.

That would be a much bigger lesson than hitting back physically.

That's a thin line to walk on. If it were a brutally attack, yes, if it were a slap in the the face, no. If the woman punched me a few times then i would shove her to the ground. A man is stronger than a woman and one punch in the head could kill her. It's hard a thing to decide, i guess you will know when it happens.

I wouldn't generally hit anybody ...except in self defence and then gender is not an issue.

I've said this time and time again: If a woman hit me the most I'd do would be to push her. I'd never hit.

I defend myself against anyone and everyone.
No one gets a free swing at me without retaliation.
