Seriously. I don't know too many straight people who announce that they are straight, or call press conferences to announce it. Why can't gay people just be gay and be happy with that?

Where to start... I am in love with my best friend and I think she is in love with me too. She won't totally let me go, still keeps in contact when she says she doesn't want to. Told me she thought about me while having sex with her husband, and thinks about being with me everynight. She said a year ago she was in love with me, but now says she doesn't like females she "accidently" texts me when shes mad at me, and tries to see me as much as possible, never wants to make the first move, but loves it when I do except later says it was a mistake. sometimes she flirts with me and drops hints that she wants me but then changes the subject when it gets to be too much. If I made a "first move" she would totally go for it. She is my best friend, and I am in love with her, what do you guys/gays think? I really need advice, she's means the world to me. Her husband is a DICK talks down to her ALL THE TIME, but she CAN'T leave him b/c of the kids and she just bought a new car and home???? HELP

Beliefs are Beliefs, but is it possible for a person who knows the teachings of Christ be gay and still be called a Christian, knowing full well how God feels about such actions?? I'm not judging I'm just curious? I have a couple gay male friends but I like them as a person not by their sexuality, but according to the Bible I'm not to even associate with them, if I do I'm sinning. I am not gay, but am curious how the rest of the world portrayed this subject? It has made me think seriously about our relationship/friendship.

I have a friend, "Anthony", who is a junior in college who has a purely sexual relationship with a freshman, "Xavier." The thing is, the Xavier is WAY into the Anthony more than Anthony is into Xavier. Anthony only uses him for sex, and Xavier says he's okay with that, but I think it's apparent that he's not.

I've tried to tell Anthony that this can only end badly, but he won't listen. He says that Xavier understands what kind of relationship they have, and that he's ok....but I think Xavier is only saying that so he can have some sort of relationship with Anthony...confused yet???

Does anybody have any advice I could give Anthony? I know what's going to happen is that Xavier will eventually push for more than just sex, or he'll get insanely jealous when he sees Anthony talking to other people....how can I make Anthony see that he's hurting himself as well as Xavier?

There is a big party coming up where men are to dress as women and women as men. My man said he would go with me but he didn't want to stand out. So what I would like to know is what type of womans pants/jeans would not stand out on him, even if he was to be out in public. He is secure about who he is but its a one time thing. Every night I can see her through her window taking her clothes off real slow around right after Jay Leno. She seems to be looking straight at me with a seductive look, I have my lights off so she can't see me but she does this every night, I feel like I'm being violated and she wears those knee high stockings, it is very disturbing then when is totally nude she turns the light off, as if she is teasing me. In regards to sexual orientation (gay or straight), we can't choose who we are attracted to or how we feel. We can't tell ourselves, "No, you are not going to be attracted to that person!" We just are. The term "choice" refers to our choice to act on our feelings towards someone. Everyone chooses their actions, but no one can choose their feelings.

i work in an environment where it is second nature to hear the word 'gay' being used as a derogatory term on a daily basis. This deeply offends me that my colleagues are using a term that describes a condition of life for me as a synonym for 'bad', 'crap', 'awful', 'stupid' etc.

How should i handle this? I have mentioned it a couple of times & asked people not to use it, but i dont want to be seen as the one always 'flying the rainbow flag', so to speak. I want to be treated as an equal to my peers, not any different, but at the same time cannot put up with this kind of prejudice!

I have spoken to my boss & he has raised the issue also, but it continues...

Advice please!

alright so what is it that makes being gay such a bad thing. you hear that jimmy and suzy had sex and its no big thing.. but jimmy and bob had sex and its "eeww!!! really.... thats gross" etc. what is so wrong with being gay.... anyone who says that they wont hang out with someone is gay is stupid... there acting like there in 3rd grade... like gay people have cooties... so give me two plausible excuses for why being gay is wrong and i will give you ten points... I have known I'm gay for a while now, and had a relationship at one point, but there is a new problem. There is a guy I like, who is 3 years younger than me (looks old for his age), and I am really good friends with one of his friends, but him and I don't really hang out with each other much. I knew him since he was in my moms class, and have . We all snowboard, and sometimes the three of us go together. This weekend we are goin up again. I have asked him if he wanted to go up to the hill, just the two of us, but he seems a bit uncomfortable without his other friend there (the one I know really well).. He has been making eye contact with me alot, and is really nice, but I can't do anything in front of his friend, because he wouldn't probably take it well...

I don't want to email him because that's insincere, and I suck on the phone... I don't really see him other than at the skihill... what can I do? Anyone?
