I've slept with almost all of my female friends. I'm still friends with them.

Being friends with someone you've had a bad break up with is not necessarily a good idea (I tell everyone I know not to room with an ex because it was a disaster for me), but sleeping with someone doesn't mean you can' be friends.

Yup. My best friend is my ex-girlfriend. It's great, because we know exactly what our relationship should be, and we can laugh (now) about how painful and stupid dating each other was.

Took about six months after we broke up, though, to work it out. So give it time, if this is more than a hypothetical situation.

as long as you are both ok with it just being a fling, then you should be able to stay friends. but things won't ever quite seem the same.. but in most cases, it ruins friendship as someone will get hurt and want more than a friendship

sure you can!!! i slept with 1 of my best mates. it was a mistake but we talked about it and both agreed that we didnt want it to affect our friendship. we still have our moments where we'll have a snog but most of the time it'll be to wined up our male friends...
