Heterosexuals seem to be worried about everything when it comes to homosexuality. Marriage, rights, etc. Why do people who can openly fall in love not understand that homosexuals need the same right. It isnt like beastliality or pedophilia, we dont do "perverted acts" (I know that is going to get some serious homophobic comments when instead of preaching about how perverted homosexuality is people should be preaching about how god loves you no matter what). Anyways, why are heterosexuals so concerned with homosexuals?

I'm asking a serious question here. Why do homosexuals insist on coming out of the closet? Sure, the person can be a wonderful person and an utter joy to be with, but somehow coming out can be and often is a cataclysmic event that drives away friends, family, and other such loved ones. If a person's homosexuality is so vague that coming out is necessary (as opposed to the stereotype who's obviously gay by running around saying "HELLOOOO!!!!"), why not stay there where you're safe? While the vast majority of people (I hear) are tolerant of homosexuality, it still has the power to completely destroy a person's social circle. Why take that risk instead of just keeping it to yourself? (I'm not saying they should be ashamed of it in any way. I'm just wondering why they make such a bold move as actually talking about it.)

Me and my partner are a young, loving couple, we keep our selves to ourselves, we are not outragiously camp and we abide by the law! So why is it that so many people feel the need to abuse us when we are mearly living our lives in peace?

In the last year a lot of my close friends have walked from my life since discovering I am gay. I have developed new relationships with a new close-knit group of friends but I would like to hold onto my relationships with my other friends also. Is this possible?

I'm not here to offend anyone. I'm just curious. I was watching an episode of South Park earlier tonight about Stan's dog exploring it's sexuality. The show was funny and all, but it got me thinking.... Can animals really be homosexual?

All negative answers and flames will be either laughed at or ignored.

I know what guys think of it- of course it's damn hot. But guy's consider male-male relationships to be, to say the least, very bad. So I'm wondering what girls think of lesbians.

There are many gay people who are married (not to a person of the same sex), have kids, and look like they are enjoying life. Then something dramatic in their life happens, and they come out of the closet. Why does this happen? What would have happened if that dramatic event never happened, would they have still come out later?

Or

They come out of the closet like in their thirties....why couldn't they have come out earlier? Did they know they were gay, or did they try to stop it?

I have never kissed, even. I think many people have a mental block against taking someone's innocence. Or in my case, non-innocence.

Thinking of relocating from NC to FL, and looking for suggestions on a Metro area that's easy-going, low-hassle, and generally good to live and work in. Not looking for a gay mecca, just don't want to live in a totally redneck city/town that includes gay-bashing as a popular local pastime.

Please don't critisize but I would like to know how many people who are for and against it with their reason. This isn't for an essay or for school I'm just wondering.
