Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - November 2006

OK, so in meditation I heard a mystical voice say although I am a lesbian looking for women, my soulmate is male and I'm destined to learn a lesson from him that "not all men are bad" and "how to forgive men". ?? I have no problem with them as long as they keep their attitudes and their d_cks away from me! I'm OK with men!

Anyway, so I ignore all this, continue girl-chasing. I started having DREAMS about some DUDE who said he was going to meet me soon, and not to run away from him. He said his name was "Chris", let's say, and a Leo, and I would meet him in LA at night at a gala in a room of people. Well, by coincidence I am going to be at an LA gala in a few days, at night, guess who is there, a certain DUDE named Christopher who really wants to meet me. And he's a Leo. ????

So OK - gays, lesbians - if told your soulmate was the opposite sex, would you hold your nose and see what happens? I'm sickened by this and don't even want to go to the thing. Should I?

I don't mean the abusive or stupid ones, but the ones where people genuinely want to know (and obviously haven't realised that the same questions appear pretty much every day), such as:
"Do you believe in gay marriage?" [yes]
and "Do you think you were born gay?" [yes]

I sort of feel that I should answer if they are asking for serious reasons, but I get so tired of putting the same replies in.

Any thoughts?

I'm a fourteen-year-old pre-T. FTM, so most of the time in school when I need to use the restroom I'll wait until there is no one else in the hallway and go use the guy's bathroom. I had been doing this yesterday and school, and like usual I wasn't having any problems, but when I stepped out of the bathroom, my student teacher was walking by and saw me walk out of the guy's bathroom. He didn't say anything to me about it right at that moment, and he's a college guy and seems pretty cool, but should I maybe be worried? Nobody knows I'm FTM except my mum and my psychologist, so the school doesn't know...

I met her. I met her! The girl of my dreams! Two days after I posted here on Yahoo I was hunting a certain kind of girl, I met her by complete accident at a women's counseling group session. I don't know if she's gay or straight yet. I do know she hugged me tightly, thinks I'm smart, and has apparently been through some abuse - she alluded to it in the session. Was it a man? A woman? I'm excited and don't know. Anyway this woman is so beautiful. Thick, curvy, dark, luscious, raven hair, intense eyes, such a cute little Sixties mod appearance...

Now here's the problem: I don't even know her name, and my best friend, who is straight, is her friend also. If I try to hook up with this girl through best friend, best friend will now know I'm gay. Not good as this is a religious community and my friend is very high up and very religious. It would ruin every Friday for me. Trust me. And I would lose the community.

But I WANT THIS GIRL!!! What should I doooooo???

Leaving God out of it, can anyone think of a valid reason to forbid gays the right to marry each other? If you CAN think of a reason, please tell us, but make sure you back it up. If you want to say 'well, it hurts marriage' then you need to show us how.

i am not sure what to do about work, i work in an office with mostly women can i be fired if wear womens clothing to work? or do they have to allow me to dress however i want (as long as the clothing is suitable to the office) any body else been in a similar situation and if so how did you handle it?

OK, it's November, I'm in England, and it's cold and wet and blowing a gale.
In that situation, which would be the best way to warm up:
1) A bowl of hot soup with fresh crusty bread dunked in it,
2) A hot cup of tea and a chocolate eclair,
3) A long smooch with the one you love (or anyone else who happens to be handy)?

I've studied metaphysics. That we have telepathic and empathic ability as
physical/spiritual beings. That there are awesome magnetic/spiritual forces at
work. And other realities, that are positive and negative, and these forces,
draw different aspects of these other things to our world, just like the waters
of the seas. Forming our natures and personalitites.
We do need to get some control over ourselves, and not get lost in wreckless
abandon! But all the Gay bashing is BULLSHIT! It's just self-righteous finger pointing that
humans do to take the attention off of their own screwing up!
