OK, so in meditation I heard a mystical voice say although I am a lesbian looking for women, my soulmate is male and I'm destined to learn a lesson from him that "not all men are bad" and "how to forgive men". ?? I have no problem with them as long as they keep their attitudes and their d_cks away from me! I'm OK with men!

Anyway, so I ignore all this, continue girl-chasing. I started having DREAMS about some DUDE who said he was going to meet me soon, and not to run away from him. He said his name was "Chris", let's say, and a Leo, and I would meet him in LA at night at a gala in a room of people. Well, by coincidence I am going to be at an LA gala in a few days, at night, guess who is there, a certain DUDE named Christopher who really wants to meet me. And he's a Leo. ????

So OK - gays, lesbians - if told your soulmate was the opposite sex, would you hold your nose and see what happens? I'm sickened by this and don't even want to go to the thing. Should I?

Normally this would be an OF COURSE NOT! NEVER! but I am trying to become all metaphysical and spiritual, and somehow turning this gig down feels like an X will be put on my spiritual record - like I was arrogant and hostile and didn't even try. But man, I LOVE WOMEN! I can't have a r'ship with a man??? It's impossible and I wouldn't even want to! Would "the great Creator" pose us with a test like this?

Why can't this guy be the soulmate of some thing that's into menfolk? I just met a girl I'm really interested in. Why would this test have to come now? Is it a test?

Gross, gross, gross...

Could it be possible all humans are allsexual, and a lesbian could have a male soulmate, and a gay man could have a female soulmate? It just sounds too gross and stupid to imagine.

Is it possible? (PS, I hope you all say NO)

Grist and gang, FYI, the idea of having sex with a man is vomit-inducing. I'd never have sex with this guy, come on - I just mean in the spiritual sense, could some hetero be a gay person's soulmate? Leave the sex out of it; it isn't going to happen.

This person you feel you will meet may in fact be your soul mate but not a bed mate.

You are assuming that a soulmate is someone you have to be intimate with. This is not even true. I'm a straight female. I'm happily married to my most awesome husband. However, a person came into my life a few years ago who is female and I consider her my soulmate. We don't see eye to eye on everything but we click. We have this connection that I can't even explain. Some people think we look alike and for awhile we were sure we must be related in some way. We're not. We live on two different continents right now and it doesn't seem to matter. It is like she is here with me all the time. Like I said, we just have this connection I cannot explain. I totally love her. But there is nothing sexual about the relationship.

I think you should go to this gala and see what happens. Otherwise, you might be passing up a very important relationship.

Some people believe that the concept of soul mate isn't necessarily meant to apply to your romantic partner/spouse/bf-gf. It could be a lifelong mentor, or a very close friend with whom you have a non-sexual relationship. No romance involved. Just someone with whom you share a close bond.

And for myself, no. I would not be interested in having sex with a woman. It would be going against my nature. God made me as I am for a reason. Probably because God doesn't want the world to be a boring place. It takes all kinds to make life interesting.

Yes, in the event that they have been "utterly homosexual", they might have discovered it kinda gross. But sexuality is a spectrum, so a few humans are simply fairly bi - it is POSSIBLE for them to be form of interested in the identical/reverse intercourse, however they do not particularly suppose it so much. They are by means of a long way normally homosexual/directly. They have a option of appeal. However, plenty of the emotions you suppose approximately it being "gross" are simply becasue of ways society is - you are stimulated to suppose this manner by means of the society you reside in. Personally, I'm directly, however i am in a position to dispel the prejudices society has taught me, I have not felt bizarre approximately homosexual humans or some thing like that because I used to be a child in university. I can simply positioned myself in any one else's sneakers I wager. So I suppose it is much less most likely (however nonetheless viable) that homosexual humans might suppose bizarre approximately it, on the grounds that society hasn't taught them to. They're doing what they've visible to be "typical" although within it perhaps disgusting to them.

Since I'm not gay/lesbian maybe I should not be answering this but I'll give you my opinion anyway. I think it would be great for you to have Chris as a friend, not a lover. You would lose interest in him as a lover so it would not be fair to him and really not to you either. So if you do meet Chris work on the friendship, but for romance follow your heart (and use your head too).

I'd have to meet someone in person to know if they were my soulmate or not, and then I'd have to see how I felt about it at the time.
It would be pretty cruel of God, but I'm sure it happens.
I'm personally hoping my soulmate is going to be 6'6", male, gay, and built like a brick sh*thouse, but you never can tell.
Maybe you shouldn't pre-judge the guy, but just meet him and see how you feel. (I don't know about all that mystical meditation, but whatever works for you.)

i think the obvious answer is yes. I know a straight guy that is deep into a relationship with a gay guy right now, and i myself am gay but falling for an amazing girl. Being gay should not be a restriction or make boundaries>

I dont belive in soul mates. I have heard people say this over and over and it always always ends badly. It's not like they do in the movies. So that said I would have a great male friend and keep my lesbain partner. Not having more to do with him than just firends. I

I would not sleep with him because he was my soulmate. I might sleep with him because he was my soulmate and I was genuinely sexually curious (and willing to risk the friendship by engaging in sex). But likely, no.

the only way you will ever know is to give it a try. if you just stay away and reaffirm yourself that your doing the right thing than you haven't accomplished any thing. go.maybe he wants to meet you because of you and your personality. it might not be sexual at all. if it turns out to be that than simply and politely decline. its just conversation. that's it.
