Leaving God out of it, can anyone think of a valid reason to forbid gays the right to marry each other? If you CAN think of a reason, please tell us, but make sure you back it up. If you want to say 'well, it hurts marriage' then you need to show us how.

Terry, you're not thinking clearly. Most incidences of child molestation are by heterosexuals. Look it up if you dont believe it. As for blacks, they currently have ALL the same legal rights as everyone else. As for Hussein, those people who don't want him hanged are those who don't feel he got a fair trial or those against capital punishment, NOT people who are pro-rape. Geez, have you taken your meds today?

I have no arguments against the right of two consenting adults to live together, love & support each other and have a happy life.

Isn't this what everyone wants?

There is no valid reason against gay marriage.
Anyone who thinks that we as gays think we can change you straight folk queer- well. You just dont have the facts.
You are BORN gay, even if you dont realise/acknowledge/ or accept it about yourself.
It isnt a "Lifestyle" either. Ask Dr.Phil- a lifestyle is- do you play tennis? sing ina jazz band? ride dirtbikes? thats lifestyle. Your sexual orientation is NOT a lifestyle. You dont choose to be gay- you choose weather or not you will ACCEPT it.
"us gays" just want to be treated like everyone else, cuz we ARE just like everyone else.
And ps- Most ppl would never know im gay. I dont LOOK like a lesbian and i get told that all the time. I always have the same answer:
"we are your mothers, your fathers, your brothers your sisters, your daughters and your sons'

The main thing is there isn't a valid reason as marriage is no longer a religious thing, which requires validation from people that subscribe (sometimes) to outdated and (sometimes) contradictory beliefs. Marriage is about human rights, being able to protect the person you love, in a legal sense and to be able to celebrate that love with family and friends.

Civil marriage for ANYONE is begging and paying the government to give you a license to go out, perform a ceremony, register with them, purchase a marriage certificate from them, and petition them for divorce. Civil marriage sucks for everyone. Israel does it right where churches maintain permanent registeries. American entrepeneurs could do better with a free market system allowing private individuals to execute PRIVATE marriage contracts and register them in private records vaults and databases. Get the state out of the monopoly that hinders a free market. Dump civil marriage for gays, straights. Allow private contract marriage.

First off that's not all they want , once they can get married then they will want all these other rights and other people with diff rent views will want there rights also, Heres an Ex-sample In the last few years there has been an overwhelming presence of Guys having sex with children ,its on the news nightly , So lets say hey these guys cant help the way they are there just born that way so we as a society say yea your right so lets let them do what they want , and pretty soon we have guys raping are children and saying its OK , think it cant happen ? Then why would people be so against Hanging Sodam Insane each year the Love of Man gets colder and colder toward each other , Personally if I was a Black person I would be screaming about these rights the gay people are wanting they have bi passed the color of ones Skin for the rights of your own sexual preference

There is nothing wrong with gay marriage. These people have the right to be together, and have all the benefits of marriage (insurance, and all legal rights of any spouse).

Nope. They can't produce one.
Procreation is not a requirement of marriage, neither is fertility for that matter.
Every other argument was a strawman.

I say to each his own. I may not believe in it, but it is their right to indulge in whatever they choose. I am not their judge, I leave that to someone that is more powerful than you or I, God. Like it is written, "Judge not, that ye be not judged.

One good example is a question that was on here the other day. The guy was gay, he wanted to know if we thought it was alright for him to pull this guy`s pants down and go for it. The other guy was unaware of him being gay. I find that to be the case, as I have been around a lot of lesbians and homos. You act as if we can be changed into being gay if we give you the chance. WE AREN`T INTERESTED SO LEAVE IT ALONE. This contributes alot to homophobia.
