THE COWBOY AND THE LESBIAN.

An old cowboy sat down at the Star bucks and ordered a cup of coffee.
As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him.
She turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"
He replied, "Well, I've spent my whole life breaking colts, working cows,
going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring
calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding
my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy."

She said, "I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As
soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I
think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think
about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of
women."

The two sat sipping in silence.
A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy
and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?!”
He replied, "I always thought I was, but I just found out that I’m a
lesbian."

I know that someone called the FBI and then called Yahoo and told them that they had done so and the site cleaned up really quickly....shows you that y/answers can do it when they have to....now we also have a class action lawsuit in progress to force Yahoo answers to submit the real user names behind the avatars....that'll cause some minor's parents a little financial chaos and some adults a lot of grief...but in the meantime I guess all we can do is keep ignoring them...and NOT answering their questions....I don't even have time to report them anymore...If we could just train ourselves to ignore them they'll go away...lets's just try it for 1 night?.

I know that people keep asking this, and I have to through it up again:

The bashers get MORE responses to their questions than that of more "actual" LGBT questions. I look at the recent bashers getting 14+ response and other people getting just 2 or maybe none at all.

Who are we here to help?

Look, I know, certainly, how tempting it can be to respond to them (and on occasion have), but why give all of our attention to them?! Since we know who they are, and since most of them can condense into one person, barring random bashers, why continue to gratify them?

First of all, let me clear up that I am straight and I openly support my gay friends. I believe in equal humor rights for everybody regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or whatever reason. Secondly, let me state that my boyfriend likes to make fun of me because of this. He calls me gay (yes, that's why I am asking this here). I don't understand why he does this. I never express interest in women. Let me just say that's not the only name-calling he has done recently-he has called me annoying, childish, and unnatractive because of other reasons. Has his humor stepped over the line to verbal abuse? Please help. I have been with him for 4 years, and recently he has been doing all of this. I try to talk to him about the hurtful things he says to me, but he thinks I am being "naggy" and not "humorous" and that I need to "grow up". Serious answers appreciated.

Let me preface that this is being premised purely on a scientific biological and evolutionary context and without reference to morality or prejudice. The most basic and primary biological purpose and function of every living organism being its survival, its propagation and continuance, how can a drive or sexual function contrary to that be anything but a dysfunction of biological purpose and the evolutionary process of survival of the species. Considering that the homosexual community’s platform and consensus is that their lifestyle is not a choice but a hardwired biological drive, which they do not control but follow being their natural course, would not the fate of a species be terminal if that biological programming began to permeate all of the species? If applied to the whole, any biological programming which would compromises the species procreation and survival is by its nature against the normal and natural evolution of a species and its continuance of life.

...in a Kit Kat?

Four or two? Or the Chunky one? Or Kingsize?

Serious question - I'm a bit of a chocoholic, and I personally prefer the four or two finger, because the ratio of chocolate to wafer is better.
(Obviously this ISN'T a sexual reference, or my choice would be different!)

And does anyone else eat all the chocolate off it and then suck the wafer till it melts? Or just me?

Why are there so many homophobes on here constantly spreading their hatred, being judgmental and hypocritically using religion to justify their bigotry and hatred? It amazes me how time after time; lack of education and home spun prejudice seemingly continues to bring these unfortunate human beings out of the woodwork. The Bible-Pounders are especially bad; their hypocrisy knows no bounds and is astounding to say the least!

So, society today has terms like "tolerance" and "acceptance" to refer to one's attitude towards gay people or the gay community. I was wondering if "Tolerance" is a good thing to teach or not.

Personally, I believe Tolerance is stupid to teach, and that parents should be teaching their kids about Acceptance. You tolerate a person's stupid behavior, or a bunch of screaming five-year-olds, but you accept people for things they have no control over.

Just wondering what you all thought...

Tomorrow is Bonfire Night here in the UK (also known as Fireworks Night or Guy Fawkes Night), so there are firework displays going on everywhere and I don't like them.

I don't like the loud noise, I think they're dangerous if you're within about half a mile, and I don't really see the point. If I'm indoors and I can just watch from a distance it's not so bad, but they're still too loud (especially if I'm working early shift and trying to sleep!).

And I don't like fires, either, so I never go to bonfire parties.

I'm not disputing anyone's right to enjoy themselves, or trying to get them banned or anything, but I just wondered if anyone else actually doesn't like them, or is it just me?

(Oh, and it's in this section because I mean GAY fireworks, obviously! Please don't ask - I post everything here.)
