The majority of cross dressers are straight men, so the answer would be a straight woman.

Generally speaking gay males are supposedly more apt to be cross-dressers but that is because we are more apt to notice a male in female-type clothing than we are to notice a female in traditional male clothing.

It depends, if they cross dress to entertain others, then they are gay men in drag and they date other gay men.
If they cross dress because wearing women's clothing sexually arouses them, then they are straight men (referred to as transvestites) and straight women date them.
If they cross dress because they feel their biological sex is incorrect then they are transgendered and may date either men or women, as gender identity does not correlate to sexual orientation.
I'm a woman, and I wear men's clothing because its more comfortable and I'm dating a woman.
There's an entire rainbow of people out there and its is difficult to generalize.

another cd for certain. some understanding women as well. perhaps a mom,sister or cousin to help them out too. alot of cd's are on their own and somehow make it alone in their quest for happiness too.
