i truly adore women and the feminine mystique. i am not gay and the masculine form does not attract me. i rely on clued in genetic women to lead me down the feminine path. is this really thqt wrong? ideally i require helpful responses from the transgender world and sympathetic genetic gals.

I was told by one of my college professors (in American history) that the term "African-American" is a generally acceptable term.

However, in my opinion, it implies that someone immigrated to the U.S. from Africa. The term is applied to a great deal of individuals who were born here and never came from Africa (had African descent) or were born here and were of Jamacian, West Indian descent.

I'm not racist or anything. My question is why do we apply the African-American term to those who have African descent but weren't born in Africa. It would be like applying a European-American tag to most people in the U.S. with European roots.

Any thoughts or comments about this?

In Dr. Peter Gott's column in the paper today, a reader wrote in to say that a doctotor told her friend, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer, that women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a car because of the heat reaction. It appears the plastic bottle has certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. Heat causes toxins from the plastic to leak into the water, and those toxins have been identified in cancerous breast tissue.
Do you leave your water bottle in the car with the intention of finishng it later? I can tell you that I never will again!

I posted a quote/question by Redd Foxx on here making fun of stupid, ignorant and racist white people. Which I find to be so easy and fun, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. My question was pulled and reported, WTF? I'm white, why can't I make fun of my own people?

Yes,lemme ask a really sensitive question and get you all hot and bothered! I don't believe an apology would really change much but it would show that Western governments really are sorry for the atrocities of the past.No to mention that the 'slave mentality' still affects a lot of black people today.Ideally this apology should be done by the UK,America,Portugal,France,Germany,Holland and all the other European countries that divided up Africa like a turkey and carted it's people away. And if you call me a racist, you are a....

When I came out to my friends as a bisexual and told them about my dating a lesbian, some of my friends became extreamly stand offish. One of my friends is a girl, and me and her used to be the best of friends, yet when I came out we continued to hang out until one day she flat out said to me that I make her uncomfortable. I don't even hit on her, or say anything about my sexual life to her! I don't know what to do about people like this! It makes me so angry! What do I do??

Michael Richards better known as Kramer from tv's Seinfeld, does make a good point. This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points.

Proud To Be White

Someone finally said it.
How many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans,
Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.
And then there are just Americans.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.
You Call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,'
'Whitey,' 'Caveman' ... and that's OK.

But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towel head,
Sand-******, Camel Jockey, Beaner, ****, or Chink ...
You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you,
so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United ***** College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah.

God, and man was having a pleasant stroll.
Man asks, " GOD, why did you make woman so beautiful"?
GOD replied "So you would love her".
Then man asked "GOD, why did you make woman so stupid"?
and GOD replied "So she would love you".
Comments, anyone?

I am proud to be a citizen of the USA. Our politicians, military leaders and entertainers get criticized by the whole world but I wouldn't live anywhere else. It makes me mad when foreigners think they have the right to judge Americans.

What's your opinion?

I forgot to wish you a Happy Hanukah yesterday! Since most families that celebrate Christmas have their own personal family traditions, I wondered if you have any particular family traditions for Hanukah, other than the ceremonial aspects.
