I posted a quote/question by Redd Foxx on here making fun of stupid, ignorant and racist white people. Which I find to be so easy and fun, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. My question was pulled and reported, WTF? I'm white, why can't I make fun of my own people?

I don't think its you makin a joke so much as it is you makin a deragatory comment about a race. I don't know what you said so I can't say if it was bad or not, and I'm sure its funny, but yahoo is gonna x out anything they think people might get offended by. Even if its your own race, if someone gets offended by it then they have to deal with it.

I cracked a few mama jokes before, cuz thats what the person asked for, and they x'ed me out. I was super freakin pissed. The dude asked for mama jokes and someone reports me. WTF?! I mean thats what he asked for. Yahoo's just tryin to save their own @ss is all.

Are you gettin as annoyed as I am with ppl misinterpretin your question? You asked why can't whites make fun of whites, not why can't whites make fun of blacks. I don't know where all this, "you can really offend black ppl by sayin this" or "its not cool cuz whites think we're inferior" or any damn thing. People are puttin words in yo mouth. That sh*t pisses me off. How did this become a black and white thing?

well quite simply your question was pulled because someone got bent out of shape over it, and brought it to the attention of YA team. I do believe in equal rights. That means no special treatment for anyone! No one is inferior to white, no one is inferior to african american's and so on. . . .

Im not going to get into all specifics here, it will just start chaos. . . but i do believe that people need to lighten up a little bit. You can tell if someones intent was usually, wether it be to just be funny and make a joke or to make a derrogitory statement. I do think that most people need a better sense of humor. And i mean EVERYBODY.

racism, can be any color. You can even be racist towards your own race. . .. so even a white comedian making a joke about white people can be seen as racism, the same goes for any other race.

I guess the person who reported you were racists themselves. Whether you were white, black, yellow, or green doesn't apply to them. The only thing that matters is that you insulted one of their kind.
If they were not racists, then maybe they felt as if you violated the Community Guidelines, probably under chat or ranting, though I doubt that this is the true cause seeing as though since you were attacking a target that few on here (as far as I know) are affiliated with. Also, everyone knows what they do, and not many people approve of it.

Your rights to free speech no longer exist. HR 1955 is a bill that basically says if the government doesn't like what you say, they can label you a terrorist and ship you to Guantanamo Bay (habeas corpus is suspended as well,), not that that applies to this particular case, but I'm just putting the word out there.

I suppose if you left out the white part, it wouldn't have been an issue. For Wudbiser, black people were made fun of for years and it was just fine. Know your history. Why are you so upset now? Karma has a way of rearing its head doesn't it?

Because white people don't like to have their past brought up and shoved in their face, they don't want to admit they may have done something wrong. That's why black history is being watered down in the schools.

Wudbiser, first off there are comedians (Dane Cook, for example) who make fun of blacks, and for most black people we are able to find the humor in it. The problem starts when comedians start to refer back to blacks being enslaved or refer to blacks being inferior to whites. Sorry to say but many white people seem to have no problem with whites making fun of blacks, but flip the script, and we start seeing things like questions being pulled. Sadly many white people still think blacks are inferior to them, with that sad they also don't feel we have the right to poke fun at them.

You can, but calling someone racist whether they are the same race or not will get you reported and isn't nice for people who take it literally.

because YA has a nice and convenient way of giving out violations to those who Haven't said anything remotely racist. however, they seem to always keep the overtly racist Q&A's up.

I didn't see the content but from personal experience Y!A is VERY conservative on racial issues or even the perception of racial issues. And with an avatar you can really be anyone.
