When I was in grade school, a neighbor girl used to come over and play. She told me her name was Renee but I heard, "Grenade" so for the longest time I called her Grenade. I'll never forget (thinking back) to my mom trying to keep from laughing as she asked, "Are you sure her name isn't RENEE?" I said, "No, it's Grenade, she told me."

Sisters boyfriend was named Jade, their friend called him "Jay" for a long time before he finally saw Jade write his name and asked, "Is that your name JADE? I've been calling you Jay."

Got any good stories to share?

A Blonde attempt to ride a Horse…
A blonde decides to try horseback riding even though she has had no lessons or prior
experience.
She mounts the horse unassisted and the horse immediately springs into motion.
It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the
saddle.
In terror, she grabs for the horse's mane, but cannot seem to get a firm grip, she tries
to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but she slides down the side of the horse
anyway.
Finally, giving up her frail grip, she leaps away from the horse to try and throw
herself to safety.
Unfortunately, her foot has become entangled in the stirrup; she is now at the mercy
of the horse's pounding hooves as her head is struck against the ground over and over.
As her head is battered against the ground, she is mere moments away from
unconsciousness when to her great fortune . . .
The Woolworth's Manager sees her and switches the horse off.

When you do see a happy story its one of kids painting an angel picture on the sidewalk, or a fireman saves a kitten. There are thousands of good untold stories of good people doing good things for each other out there every day, yet media concentrates on the negative. And to make it worse, the negative that seems to be neglected is anything LGBT related until someone gets killed. I don't understand media. What do you think?

I've always thought that the concept of the big guy coming around and distributing gifts is an awful one - don't get me wrong, I'm not a "Scrooge" but I just think that its awful to tell kids this huge lie, and have to go to all sorts of lengths to make sure they don't "find out the truth".
Then there is the unfairness angle - the big guy gives rich kids expensive gifts, and poor kids cheap gifts, or none. What does this teach kids, I wonder ?
I'd be much happier if we told children that we're celebrating Jesus' birth, and that this makes us all feel happy, so we give each other a gift. That way, kids wouldn't expect endless expensive toys since they'd know that their families were the donors.
What do you think ? Do you love the big fellow, or not?

Whites have a multitude of eye color, and hair colors, types, and shades, freckles, pale white skin to golden brown, various height differences and facial features earlobes, nose, eyebrows. If I compare this to other races, the diversity that Europeans have is clear and unequaled by any.

Scottish & English Armies
In the old days the English and Scottish armies used to fight by gathering their armies on top of the hills and at day break they would run down the hillside into the deep gorge below to fight.

One morning at dawn there was a fog (as thick as pea soup) and the two generals decided to refrain from fighting that day. Whilst the two armies were resting a voice, with a scottish accent came from within the dense fog.

"Any one scotsman can beat any 10 englishmen".

With this, the english general sent down 10 of his soldiers. There was a hell of a fight and NO ONE returned. An hour later, the same voice was heard.

"Any one scotsman can beat any 50 englishman".

With this the english general sent down 50 of his soldiers. The same thing, a terrible fight ensured and again NO ONE returned. An hour later the same voice.

"Any one scotsman can beat any 100 englishman".

Same same, down went 100 of the best. NO ONE returned. An hour later.

"Any one scotsman can beat any 1,000 englishman".

By this time, the english general had enough and was about to send down his elite soldiers, when he saw a lone englishman crawling up the hill. He was battered to a pulp. As he reached his general he said, "Don't send any more troops down, its a trap, THERES TWO OF THE BASTARDS".

I'm 24 but I have never had a boyfriend, ever. I'm extremely closeted so I have never step foot in a gay bar or club. I do get asked out by girls every now and then, so I know my looks aren't a disadvantage.

I go to the gym a lot and I often exchange glances with guys I see there, but I don't have the courage to approach any of them.

Anyways, where can I go to meet other gay guys?

I have 2 beloved, petite aunts who are in their 70s. I need a source (online store) for clothes to suit them. They would prefer to wear the same conservative machine washable, 100% polyester styles they have been wearing for the last 25 years or so. (If I bought them a "new" style, it would probably go in the closet never to see the light of day).

In particular, I'm looking for blouses that are a silky polyester (like a suit blouse) but have a stretchy ribbed knit band at the bottom (like a sweat shirt). These blouses had their heyday sometime in the 1980s, but my aunts still love them nevertheless.

Old Pueblo Traders used to carry these as recently as last Christmas, but no more. Can anyone suggest another source? Many thanks.
