Senior citizens are very badly affected by the change in the system and are at the mercy of old age homes ,which were unheard of a few years ago in this country !!

Answer me this. Why do you dislike Mexicans? To those who are not prejudice, answer me this question. Do you believe illegal immigrants should be able to come over to work if they are willing to work? There are still so many ignorant people out there that it just frustrates me. I believe that if a person is willing to work for a country then by all means let them stay here to work for a living like we Americans believe is the right way to go about things. If a person from Mexico wants to work to become a citizen then by all means I believe they should be able too. To those who dislike Mexicans, please do not generalize all of us as being stupid loud mouths who hate America and come here to smuggle drugs and live off welfare. That is NOT who I am and neither is my family. EVERY race has its good and bad people. Do not tell me any race is the right one to be. Yes, if you hate America and love Mexico then please go back. You are making YOUR people look bad.

I remember some strange stuff from my childhood. Apparently they worked.

I was prone to sore throats. Mom would take some kind of cloth, fill it up with melted Vicks Vaporub and tie it around my neck. Dad would make hot water with lemon juice in it and make me drink it.

What are some of your best home remedies?

I live with my 53 year old Aunt (I'm 30)--and we get along VERY well. We're both single. I pay rent & utilty bills (which helps her out alot) , and we each buy our own food.

I have a VERY stressful job as a teacher's aide in a tough school, but my Aunt is retired and home all day. This may seem strange; but I like to eat dinner alone and have the kitchen to myself. I like to read the paper & eat in peace and quiet, which I find relaxing. In the past, my Aunt cooks & eats around 7pm--while I usually eat dinner around 6...But recently, I decided to eat dinner at 5pm. All of the sudden, my Aunt has started cooking dinner at 5pm. While I'm eating, I hear the the clanking of pots & pans, along with her moving back & forth around the TINY kitchen. I find this VERY annoying and I dont know why! When I asked her why she's cooking so early now--her feelings were hurt & she got upset. IS IT STRANGE THAT I'M ANNOYED? AM I SELFISH FOR NOT WANTING TO SHARE THE KITCHEN?

Why are women getting so mad and suprised after their boyfriend leaves them when they find out they are pregnant. What do they expect? If you really loved you they would just marry you already and then have a child. The child was clearly an accident. Why would you have a baby with your girlfriend? He probably just wanted sex because he knew he could get it from you. Why are women so slow?

When Harley Davidson died and went to heaven he boasted to God that he'd created the best motor bike in the world.

God said that BMWs were better.

Harely said; " what do yo know about design? You created woman and look at the problems we have with them!"

God said " I think you'll find a lot more men are riding my creation than yours!"

My guy friend and I are in middle school. We have been friends like a year. He's bisexual, and i'm bisexual. Ever since this school year started I had feelings that I haven't had before. I want to know whether he likes me or not. I want to ask him to be my boyfriend. I wish I can have a relationship like boyfriends.

Scenario that was given ~~~~~~~
Two men are in a relationship......
One is openly gay and very comfortable with his life. The second thinks he is a woman - he has no desire to have gender changing surgery as he is comfortable with his body.

Is this a homosexual or hetrosexual relationship?

According to the professor it is hetrosexual and thinking otherwise is to fail this part of the course due to the fact the second man believes he is a woman.

Is anyone else confused by this answer?
Some questions I can't get out of my head.....
1) What if he changes his mind and dates women, was he really gay before?
2) What about the other man's feelings as he believes in his life choices?

Opinions please...... this course is driving me nuts.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying that women of other races aren't strong women that wouldn't be the truth. However, with others it appears that they are allowed to not always have to be invincible. Other races are allowed to cry and have a break down here and there and pop all the prozac they want without any one passing judgement. Black women on the other hand it seems we are expected to walk around with a chip on our shoulders (that most often you may not even have), we cant just break down and cry without being labled less than, we have to have everything under controll all the time. Sure I'm strong and I can handle my own but every now and again you want it to be okay if you don't have the answers or you need to cry or something.

If I am wrong and women of other races feel this way sometimes to let me know. Perhaps this is a commonality and I'm just clueless.

When someone said we all needed to register with a particular site to avoid telemarketer calls, I took them at their word, I never had any because I have the national site that George Bush implemented. But they said that was running out. So I clicked on and gave the information, now I am starting to get calls from all sorts of goof ball telemarketers...I am really mad, folks. But guess what, it will be a long time before I get scammed again, I can shut down my whole yahoo account, I am not dependent on this for entertainment or anything else. There are some very nice folks on here, but the nut cases get harder for me to ignore.

Go spend a day in senior housing. You will find the residents watching the same shows, playing the same games, eating the same food, etc., day after day after day. Especially "The Price is Right." What's up!! How about a little change?
