if you haven't got a sense of humour just answer the question and don't bother reading the rest. x
When Harley Davidson died and went to heaven he boasted to God that he'd created the best motor bike in the world.
God said that BMWs were better.
Harely said; " what do yo know about design? You created woman and look at the problems we have with them!"
God said " I think you'll find a lot more men are riding my creation than yours!"

This is the way I heard it:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arthur Davidson, of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Corporation, died and went to heaven. At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur, "Since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world, your reward is, you can hang out with anyone you want in Heaven."
Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said, "I want to hang out with God."
St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God. Arthur then asked God, "Hey, aren't you the inventor of woman?"
God said, "Ah, yes."
"Well," said Arthur, "professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention.
1. There's too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusion.
2. It chatters constantly at high speeds.
3. Most of the rear ends are too soft and wobble too much.
4. The intake is placed way to close to the exhaust. And finally,
5. The maintenance costs are outrageous."
"Hmmmm, you may have some good points there," replied God, "hold on."
God went to his Celestial super computer, typed in a few words and waited for the results. The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it.
"Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed," God said to Arthur, "but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours."
Good way to start our morning off, Sylvia, Thank you xxx ps some of these young 'uns must think people of a certain age lose their sense of humour when they turn 50 or something!!!
Do you think it would be possible to get some of that fancy leather the gentlemen feel is necessary to go riding? Meet them at the door in chaps and a vest...and a nice perfume. Who needs a Harley?
LOL. That was cute, Sylvia.
I think I have a pretty good sense of design in decorating with comfort as well as style. I've decorated my homes over the years with themes in most every room and have always received alot of compliments on my eye for color and how to use it. I've helped with a friends' home, to decorate her walls with things she'd collected over the years and had stored them away, just because she said she had no concept of how to display them and make them highlight a room. I helped my mother when she was alive and displayed her accessories for her to change the looks of her wall space. I also added things to enhance the living and dining rooms as well. I enjoy decorating and always want comfort to be formost as well as being in style.
That was actually very good Sylvia...I liked that very much!!
And now to answer your question--I know something about design. I often make up my own patterns for the clothes I sew, or the toys I make.
