Since I have moved to America, I often remain barefeeted out of the force of the habit. Even now that I make enough money for many large shoes, I forego them for the most part. Of course, many establishments require one's feet to be shod, and so I will wear my wonderful leather sandals when I go into the city, but I very much prefer barefeetedness. In the wintertime, however, I must wear socks with my sandals, due to the cold.

flip flops if you're civilized.
bare feet if you are a hippy.
unless of course you're at the beach :)
Flip flops are the best way to go because often times I see stores with signs that discriminate against hippies by saying " no shirt, no shoes, no service!"

Bare feet flip flops make to much noise and hurt the part in between my big toe and the toe next to it.

Hi. Flip flops have been proven to cause foot problems because people wearing them have to walk with an un-natural 'grabbing' action to keep them on. My vote? Bare feet.

Actually, I prefer being sock footed. I wear little ankle socks everywhere. I hate shoes but hate being barefoot. And flip flops are just... um, no, not for me.
