Let me tell you what is going to happen.
Currently, India has the same size middle class as the United States. They have a democracy just like the US, and they're getting a stronger economy every year.
Pakistan has nuclear weapons (as well as India). They do, it doesn't matter who says they don't, the fact is they do.
Since India and Pakistan absolutely hate each other, one of them is going to bomb the other.
So, it's my prediction that India is going to be the one to watch, not China (and not Italy, I don't know where the hell you got Italy from).
This is a short version to what's going to happen, so if you're really interested, research it more.

Yes, with their large army, communist ideology, vast reserves of natural resources, geopolitical influence over satellite states, and explosive surges in demographics, Italy will soon eclipse the United States.

I really really doubt it. And there are really so many superpowers in this world, it would take a lot to reach Russia's level during the Soviet years.

Russia was never a Super Power. It was a communist country but that meant its people were treated like ****. And England wears the pants in Europe, so no.
