This fact is surely sexism based on pure stereotypes rather than relevant information such as the driver's history. Doesn't this just portray the stereotype that men are more irresponsible or 'risk takers' when it comes to driving? Why not base car insurance on ethnicity?

When I saw a slew of strange questions on this site last night, I got a little P.O.ed. In my slow to catch on mind, I thought, "the dang youngsters are picking on us old folks". Now, I know it was all in fun, and I feel so bad about my stinkin thinkin (tears). My slow wit took control again ....... If I'da knowed they was just jokin..... I'm just gonna go and bury my head under a pillow for a long, long time.

Anything you've seen or heard or experienced recently that struck a soft spot in your heart? Not necessarily anything to do with GLBT relationships. And not necessarily anything that anyone else would understand. For some things, you had to have been there.

Mine would be seeing my favorite usually cynical grocery store clerk in his high school marching band uniform holding his little step brother's hand while helping him down the stadium steps before a game last Friday, then giving him a hug.

I know this doesn't apply to everyone, but I just want a reasonable (if that could ever happen) answer that I can comprehend. Most of us are NO WHERE NEAR the way we are portrayed on television. Racists (with some sort of brain) are welcome to answer...

Humans naturally fear what they dont understand or what is different there is no argument over this. my point is what is more diffrent and more strange than skin colour an white and black i wonder if racism is inbuilt into us, and why it bothers some more than others

I would like to know because I see many interracial couples and it is usually with a black man. Does many women of other races find them atrractive and desirable? I always see men from other races that are gorgeous, but I dont desire them. (BTW, the stereotype of black men is not true ; )

There's this girl in my school thats 2 years below me. She's extremely intelligent, amazing at sport, and incredibly pretty... She also seems to be very modest when it comes to all three of these and she's an awesome person!
Because she's younger than me, I dont have any classes with her, and only see her maybe once a day at school. She always stops to give me a hug and have a chat and from only this I developed a small crush on her :)
I dont make it obvious AT ALL, and she seems to be the one that flirts(physical contact and eye contact). I didn't think anything would ever happen, because we don't hang out with the same people, but she asked me for my number today.
I am sooo incredibly confused, and even though I've never heard of her having something with another girl, she flirts with me soooo much! I think she probably knows Im bi,which means she's not freaked out by it, but is there something more here?Do the looks and smiles, the long hugs and affection mean something from her side?

I think it can be beautiful. Blond girl should allways dominate and put her hand over any other girl´s mouth who isn´t blonde. It is a good way of showing who is ruling, the leader and who is more popular than others. And it is fair to everyone. And especially beautifull from the man´s point of view. What do you think?

While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication,
Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor,
"It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes."

He addressed the man, "Can you name your wife's favorite flower?"

Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered,

"It's Homepride, isn't it?

He's so homophobic that he thinks masturbation is gay & wrong. & he thinks it's gay to love & care about a woman be a gentleman. He also thinks dating, engagement, & marriage is gay. He hates women & he's obnoxiously misogynistic & goes around disrespecting women & being promiscuous & sleeps with women to get HIS pleasure. He thinks like this & his brother is homosexual, & he treats his brother poorly & bashes him & abuses him & takes advantage of him.

I had one last year of my forearm, after a muscle lost its mooring. They put all of me in the tube to scan my ARM.

I'd been warned about the noise, but something Dragon said in another answer reminded me of this.

I found the noise very rhythmic, and almost fell asleep during the process, because I was hearing in my head music to go with the percussion section.

(The muscle couldn't be saved.)

So, I've got no problem with homosexuality. What I do have a problem with, is getting it forced down my throat every couple of minutes (no pun intended). Everytime I turn on the TV, a new gay character is introduced. It does nothing to enhance the story other than to say "we're more tolerant than the other network". Why do I, as a viewer, need to be in the middle of such politics. As a tolerant guy, the random insertion of gay characters (again, no pun intended) isn't going to make me more tolerant, just upset at this manufactured diversity.

It's not just tv, either. It's books & movies as well. As far as I know, REAL tolerance comes from knowledge, understand & acceptance...not from constant immersion. Beyond that we live in this media-led police state where a man will be vilified if he doesn't accept homosexuality. Isn't it that the exact same kind of persecution, but in reverse? Outside of a legal context, why should anybody be told who they should or shouldn't accept?

About men,

What do men and mascara have in common?
They both run at the first sign of emotion.

What has eight arms and an IQ of 60?
Four guys watching a football game.

How do men exercise on the beach?
By sucking in their stomachs every time they see a bikini.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST.

How To Ask A Man To Do Something :
Always remember these six important rules when asking a man to do something:

Make sure the man is conscious.

Crash the hard drive on his computer and line the bird cage with the sports section.

Be brief! Limit your nagging harangue to two, three hours, max.

Reward him for cooperative behavior. Offer to cook him something that doesn't have a peel-back cover.

Punish him when he refuses to cooperate. Microwave his remote on high power for 55 minutes. Rotate 1/4 turn, and microwave again for another 35 minutes.

Use "would you" or "will you" instead of "you'd better" or "do as I say NOW"
