While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication,
Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor,
"It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes."

He addressed the man, "Can you name your wife's favorite flower?"

Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered,

"It's Homepride, isn't it?

I know some of his, but then when I think I know something, he changes it. lol We loved the joke and when I read it to my hubby, he said, 'your favorite flower is a carnation'. He's right!

LOL That was a good one. Thanks for the chuckle. I would
have used, "Gold Medal" flour, since it's common out here.
My hubby has changed his likes and dislikes a few times
now that he's retired. So it's hard to even guess what his
favorite cologne is now. He has several brands he uses. I
still know he doesn't like after shave, because it breaks him
out in a rash. I know his favorite hobbies. And his favorite
types of movies. And mostly his taste in foods. And I know
he's still a woman watcher, cuz he makes comments that I
don't like to hear LOL. All in all, I think I think I know him better
than he knows me. Half the time I have to remind him of
things he's forgotten, or just didn't take the interest to learn
about me or someone else in the family. He seems to have
a whole new set of priorities, now that he's older. I just wish
I had a clue as to what those are. LOL.

I think women know there men, but men have not a clue to what their women's favorite things are. Hubby of almost 50 yrs, probably still does not know my favorite color, I know he knows our anniversary date and my birthday,he knows our childrens birth month, but not the day or yr,he knows my favorite flower, and he knows which aftershave I love on him the most.He does not know my favorite foods and I don't care. But I know every like and dislike he has, I can look in his eyes and tell he doesn't feel well, I could be dying on the floor and he might ask me what I was doing there!

Bero's better! Tc knows all my favourite things and I know his. We are together 24/7 and have been, barring the odd admittance into hospital, for the past (almost) 19yrs. He tells me stories about his life before we were married and I do the same and even if we've heard them before it doesn't matter. We are best friends and we couldn't imagine it being any other way! xxx

I'm beginning to learn that when Sylvia asks a serious question it requires an amusing answer. The only thing I can say is that my wife knows me better than I know her and she can tell what I'm thinking before I even think it, and she is usually dead right.

I think we know enough about each other to keep it interesting. If we knew every little thing there would be no surprises or spontaneity. Variety is the spice of life.
