What is the statutory age for an American citizen to marry?
My American teacher told me that American can marry at any age, even a ten-year-old girl can. As long as her parents permit.
Is it true?

This is going to sound really ignorant and naive, but that's coz when it comes to this subject I am.

I have never been to a gay bar but I'm going out to the gay village in Manchester in a couple of weeks with my two straight female friends and a male friend who is gay, for no other reason than we wanted a night out where we could dance and talk and have fun without lecherous men hitting on us. Since this was arranged I've split up with my husband but that is still the purpose of our night out coz I'm still not going out on the pull for some time to come.

But it got me thinking, coz sooner or later I may want a new man in my life, (I haven't ruled that out), but any new man would have to be comfortable around my friends and family including the gay one's. So would a gay bar be a good place to look? Coz obviously if a straight guy is there he's very secure in his own sexuality (unless of course he's in denial) and is more likely to be the type of guy I'd like to get to know.

I put them in the lounge, dining/kitchen, bathroom and toilet.)Don't laugh!) Thank goodness I have lovely neighbours, because our apartmnts have tiny gardens, and they let me pick from theirs. The cost of flowers is way beyond my pocket now.

i didnt think that it was a correct presentation of how racist people are in the world. they made i seem like everyone is racist ALL THE TIME, i mean, some of the people said somethings that i know i would never have said to anyone or not even think about saying. especially the part at the end where the black girl says "speak american" which doesnt even make sence!..in 2 ways! jeez. ok, i understand that some of that movie was true about the black steiotyping but not every single thing like the movie happens like that. and also it didnt make sence when ludacris is all complaining about how he white girl got scared of him and his friend because of steriotyping when THEY ENDED UP STEALING THEIR CAR!!! does he really think he is going to be treated fairly when he's doing bull like that? if he was a decent god fearing christian than i would get the point, but the whole scene was just a waste of time because you find out they are stealing bastards anyways!! to be continued.

I am never going to wear a tie again. In fact, today the garbage man got a whole rack of Brooks Brothers stuff. I am going to grow my hair down to my butt, buy a pair of earth shoe sandals, and wear nothing but boxer shorts and my old college t-shirt from here on out. I will bathe, at least once a month, whether I need it or not. After all this time in the business community, I have had it with the politics and the petty backbiting and all that dang MUZAC. Do you know how to cook? If your wife, or mother, or GF has to go away for a few days, could you fend for yourself?

An elderly friend of mine suddenly had to take care of himself. His wife got word that their daughter had to have emergency surgery. Bam! Within half an hour, his wife was out the door, and he was on his own.

She left a load of laundry in the washer, another one in the dryer. No food cooked up. Always before, if she went somewhere, she cooked up dinners for every night and put them in the freezer, so he could put them into the microwave.

So, here he was. No food cooked. No idea of how to care for clothes out of the dryer. No idea of how to dry what was in the washer.

We went over there. He made coffee. Put twice as much coffee in the pot as his wife does, half as much water. Wow!

He better hope that she outlives him, as he'd have no idea of how to take care of himself.

Could you take care of yourself, guys?

Ok, so people go around saying treat everyone equally, but then they go out and trach all "un-normal" people, such as Gays, Lesbians, And Bi's, so whats the big deal? What Homophones do is they use "God and Jesus" as an exuse saying that God doesnt love People that arent straight. Thats Bullshit. Who says that If you love the same sex, god doesnt love you as much as he would love a straight person. I think its completely dumb how people think tha just because your not straight, your disgusting, and "sick in your mind" You cannot control who you love, if your a boy and you love a boy, good for you, if your a girl and you love a girl, good for you, at least you guys know how to be proud of your sexuality. There are some people out there who are afaid to show the real person inside them because they are ashamed...I think thats dumb! You shoud be ashamed of loveing the same sex. Love is a natural and beautiful thing and shouldnt be tormented by those who are homophobic!

Volunteers can't ticket the drivers they catch breaking the speed limit, but their reports can result in warning letters being sent by police, depending on how fast the drivers were going.

Police say the program is worth it if it can make even a few motorists obey speed limits. "It's one more element of enforcing speed," says Lt. Daniel Furseth of the DeForest Police Department in Wisconsin.

someone in the family's personality or hobby? I love to pick up unique ones. My sister's husband is always fixing things, and I saw a neat ornament that said Mr. Fixit with minature tools on it. Last year I gave him a barbecue pit with miniture utensils. It was so cute.
