I put them in the lounge, dining/kitchen, bathroom and toilet.)Don't laugh!) Thank goodness I have lovely neighbours, because our apartmnts have tiny gardens, and they let me pick from theirs. The cost of flowers is way beyond my pocket now.

I would love to have flowers in the house, but the cats see something and have a "mission" to knock every single thing over on to the floor. NOTHING is safe I have a 12 foot shelf that they think it is their job to "clear" it on a daily basis. It drives me NUTS!

They also started jumbing up into the hanging haskets of plants and sleeping in them, sometimes have a "salad" of them

I love gardening so I love flowers. I do put them on the dining table and in the lounge. Never thought of the toilet. The bathroom and toilet, well I never thought of that. Maybe a good idea if they are roses with a nice scent. Fresh flowers are so expensive, it comes down to food or flowers.

How blessed you are to have that area to grow things and such generous neighbors!! WOW! I LOVE flowers and if I could afford them or could pick them I would have them in every room in my house, OH YES including the bathroom! I love all kinds of flowers, but am I really love wild flowers the best, and daisies, hydrangeas, orchids, lilies, and I love roses too but there are not my favorite. There are few types of flowers I don't like.OH just thinking about having fragrant flowers in every room is such a delicious thought!!

I go through spurts with live flowers in my home. Sometimes I get on a 'kick' and buy them weekly and place them either in my living room or dining room.

I love wildflowers and forms of lillies.

I have a gazillion live hanging and on-stand plants and entirely too many pieces of artifacts around so have not a whole lot of room left...lol

I'm one who has to have living things in my home [other than this aging one!]...and I enjoy them so much.

I put them everywhere as well. We have tons of hydrangea bushes, so that's a favorite. Not so good with roses, but if and when I see a bud , I pick it immediately and put it in a small vase. Almost forgot the pretty small glads' out front...they're yellow and pink and really delicate. Managed to lose my gardenia bush somehow, but I'll snitch a couple blooms from my neighbor and put them in a dish...just one or two is enough to make a room smell fantastic!

I also put them in my lounge room, my hallway, my bathrooms and my family room. Generally Roses, I just love the scent. I normally have enough growing to be able to fill a few vases. That is nice of your neighbours. Enjoy:-)

Money problems make it impossible to buy any. But I sure do love fresh flowers. Also my son has allergies and asthma so we try not to do anything that could bring on an attack.

Impossible to expose any flower to my five cats!! I have to stick them in the only room they're not allowed in.
