I loved sports but as I grew up I became less and less good at it. When I was a kid I played baseball almost every day. I was really good at it. In school I played softball and volleyball and was just average at it. I played softball and Volleyball after high school on city leagues and had a good time doing it. I still love to watch sports be it city leagues or kids, or college level. I don't enjoy watching sports on TV much, I like to be there. It is so expensive in the U.S. to go to professional baseball, basketball or football games, and get a decent seat in the bleachers, that I just don't go. I think it is really sad that the average income US family with children today can't afford bleacher seats for weekday games of professional baseball, let along a weekend game. When I was a kid this was a cheap way for the family to have an outing together and root for there team. "The Times, they are a changin"

I was an all around athlete from the age of seven. At the age of twelve I held the State record in Colorado for the fifty yard dash at 6.9 seconds. In High School I was active in Track and field. I ran cross Country. I was one of the top ten rated in the State in basketball in 1964. I played baseball from the age of eight through High School. I have turned my back against all Sports when the mighty dollar sign took over the players. Do you remember watching Sunday football free. Basketball and baseball games free? They are all now pay per view. No Miss I have not watched a single game ever since the dollar sign became more important then the viewers.

Dude, I'm 6'1 and have played sports my entire life. I bench over 400 pounds. It used to be hard for me to get girls becuase I let my ginormous size make me feel insecure. Then I realized, attraction is a very subjective quality. You're NOT going to be attractive to every woman, all the time. It's not posible, so cut yourself some slack. I made myself focus on character development and, having gone through some pretty tough times, I feel that my best qualities are humor, compassion and genuine understanding. Women you'll want in your life will be drawn to you based how you treat others and how you treat them, but DON'T you dare ever be a push over. You don't need mercy dates. You don't need to like the girls every guy is going after. It lacks substance and you'll end up selling yourself short (no pun intended, bro) if you don't display absolute confidence (not arrogance) in who you are and what you're all about. I know high school is tough, but college levels the playing field A LOT. Be true to yourself, stay humble, be kind and you're sure to attract genuine women as well as friends. The rest of them will never matter. Best of luck, DJ

I adored the game of tennis. My husband and I went into family counseling. It was suggested that he try to do something I enjoyed, so he took up tennis. Guess who ended up playing it more? You got it. He did.
Yes, I watch tennis on television and love it. I met Bill Cosby years ago at a tennis tournament in our city. He was a very kind person and a pleasure to meet.
I no longer play tennis due to severe back injury but I love it to this day.

Football, Scrub, Baseball and Volleyball mostly -- would play anything else "pick-up" available.
Watch mostly football and hockey now, but do enjoy soccer and some of the other sports that may be televised.

I ran track until I was 27. Got a lot of practice running away from my dad when he was mad! LOL
I also loved swimming and was a water child. I used to swim across the lake which was a mile nearly every day.
