My hair is quite long so that I can donate it to the cancer society
for wigs. This will be the 2nd time I have done that. My hair is
mostly gray and wouldn't colour it for the world. I treasure every
gray hair. I earned them and am going to keep them!! : }

I was born with short hair and it stayed that way. As a young girl I wanted long hair so bad. All my friends had pony tails. Mine is curly and fine. The longest it has ever been only touched my shoulders if I pulled it down. Now that I am "older" I would keep it short anyway. I am a redhead that was born with dark brown hair. I have been coloring it sense I was about thirty five. I started to gray very early. My complexion, freckles, and eye color (green) all scream redhead. So that's what I am now. I am Irish by the way.

My hair is about 3 or 4" below my shoulders. I have colored it from time to time. It has a lot of grey in it now. May color it again some day when I am in the mood to do it. It will be a light brown if I change it. I am not sure what color it really is as I have dyed it so much. That is one reason that I haven't dyed it in awhile, I want to see what color it really is.

Recently went from very long to shoulder length and a couple of weeks later to a short style. I dont color but I sure am enjoying the short permed hair. Wish I had done this years ago.

My hair was waist length but I caught it on fire barbequing so had to cut it, then it was bra back length and stays about that length now. It is blonde, always has been blonde, I have a few white hairs that pop up and are so stubborn. I color my hair now because I tried to be a red head, but that failed miserably since only certain "streaks" were this hideous shade of red, well orange and had no intention of "just fade away" so I started to color it back to what it had been

My hair is now just touching my shoulder....growing out from very short. I usually wear it one extreme to the other...either super short [somewhat pixie like] or very long so I can just pull it back or pin it up.
Only once have I ever tried coloring it and it was a disaster! My hair is 2/3 black and 1/3 white and the black only looked an ugly reddish brown and I hated it...so I'm back to my au naturel color! :-)

I keep my hair short. It used to be blonde and naturally curly, but my son took that, so I get perms twice a year.
I quit coloring it when my first grandchild was born in 1978. I figured a grandma is supposed to have gray hair. I'm still waiting for it. It just gets darker.

My hair is layered from my cheekbone to nearly my shoulders. Yes, I've colored it since I was 17, I get bored with it easily. It's got quite a bit of gray which I use for highlights. I have the blonder/light brown ones in the summer and auburn/dk brown in the winter. One hair color this summer was actually between burgundy and purple. My daughter was quite amused when we walked into Hardee's and their was a young teenage guy with spiked hair the exact same color.

Looks just like my Avatar, tho not the same color. It was either that or green or blue. I figured Pink was the closest to red, that I could get. Sort of a Jamie Lee Curtis style. I used to color it, but haven't done so in a while.

It is chin length now. I am waiting for some gray hair to come in so I can look like I have highlights. I have a few unevenly sprinkled in different locations depending on where I part my hair. Don't think I will color it once the gray is noticeable, but you never know.
