like they say that ur "goth", "ur emo", "ur such a preppy", "nerd","geek". thats what i mean. idon't believe in that cause no one should say who u are. if someone asks me which label i am.... i would say "i'm me and no one else"

I am a dog owner/lover. But can't seem to answer this!

Why is it ok to kill bulls after a bullfight, hunt innocent game in the wild like deers and such, but not dogs in a dogfight?

Just want to see what people think out there.

I can't bake a decent biscuit, and I've quit trying, because it's frustrating and the results are always awful.

A friend of mine, who used to be food editor of the local paper, told me about the frozen ones at Kroger, and I was astounded at how good and fluffy they are.

Now, why would I frustrate myself in the kitchen when I can just pop a few of these in the oven?

I love Greek, Chinese, Italian, Mexican and German foods. If I had to choose a favorite among those, it would probably be Italian, with Greek a close second.

I also enjoy Southern-style cooking (pork chops, gravy), but not grits. No, not ever grits.

And I'm crazy about vegetables -- all vegetables, that is, except Okra. You can keep that. I like traditional fruits, but not exotic ones like mango, star fruit, etc.

There is this boy i like and I have liked him fro a long time, but, every time we get near each we both get quiet. he talks and talks, and then last night when i walked near him he got all quiet all of a sudden. I want to tlak to him really bad - but, I get scrared.

He's not quiet by nature and has a great personality, but, then when I get near he gets quiet. Why does he do this?

We have one at home and except for recently, I've never used one. I don't get this thing about not cleaning it. Just wiping it out. Re-seasoning every now and then. It just doesn't seem to be sanitary. What am I not getting?

Two years now since the disaster and so much is left to be done. Why it takes so long to get the money to where it's needed is beyond me. All those trailers sitting in a parking lot rotting away when people could have used them. Billions of dollars sitting around not being disbursed except into someone's pocket. Let me in there....I'll straighten them out! Better yet, let's send Goldwing!

We do have land-line service and we also have two cordless phones, but we don't have cell phones. In fact, up until 15 years ago, we still had rotary service and we still have one rotary phone.

We don't have caller ID service. Instead, we keep an intercom beside the downstairs telephone set on transmit with its receiver upstairs so we can hear who calls when we're in bed. (We never answer until we know who it is.)

The land line is the only service we can get when we have a power failure. The cordless phones won't work without power.

everyone says nobody should feels sorry for people who live in new orleans la,, because
1 we are black
2 our city is mostly black
3 we have high numbers of black people who were on welfare
we were a low class city
4 new orleans people dont deserve tax payers money bacause we we already receving gorvement help and didt'n have much no way.but let me let america know something every state, country, city, parish, county,has their blacks, white, asians,mexicans, arabs,korean people.not everyone in new were receiveing gorvement help and not everyone down there was poor. i never had a father figure in my life and my mother own her own property and had her own home rasie 6 kids on her own and never recieve gorverment help.
we are just like everyone else.I'm reading these boards and forums and listening to what people are saying about us. (we should have had insurance on our houses, we should have left this and that.)but not everyone could have left because of money problems
