Not me, not well. I will go out of my way to avoid having to do so. And I'm not likely to get one of those new cars that would do it for me.

yes, I sure can...but would get one of those new cars if I thought I had to parallel park a lot. I've got a relatively smaller car, so it's easy! My old car was a Lincoln, I swear I sweated it out each and every time! lol

I would assume that if a man
or woman has been driving for
say.50 years, they would
probably be an expert at
parallel parking. I used to haul
horses from Mexico to LA in a
5 ton truck. I think I can
parallel park.

Yes I can, but would rather not. I had to take the driving test over because of parallel parking. I had to parallel park in San Marcos,Tx about 5 months ago, had no problems.

No, not really well, especially when I'm in the van. I'll even waste time and gas driving around trying to find an easier place to park. When the Smart Cars from Europe finally get to the US, I'm going to be the first one in line for one.....they're so small you can actually park them sideways in a parking spot. Just exactly what I need!

I can If I absolutely have to but if there is a parking space farther away that isnt parallel I will park there and walk. lol. I even passed it on my drivers test!! The main thing is to do it very slowly so you can watch what you are doing. lol Personally I have more problems when having to back up over long distances(out of parking lot is fine) I have problems doing it straight I over compensate in turning my wheels.

I used to be really good at parallel parking but haven't done it in such a long time I don't know how I'd be at it now. I think the last time I parallel parked was when visiting Corpus Christi, Texas in 1969. Can you say, "Out of practice?"

Yes, but will only do it if I have to - never seem to get the correct distance from the kerb. I'll always look for an alternative before doing the dreaded parallel park !

Yes, I can.

Earlier this year I emptied my storage unit and it took one of those large van's to do it in. I drove.
I pulled up in front of my apartment complex and parallel parked it perfectly on the first try.
Nobody believed I could do it. After I accomplished the job, about 50% of my complex gave me a round of applause because the had come out there to see me NOT be able to do it.

Yes, and I'm really quite good at it. Usually get it right on the first attempt. (I think that was a redundancy. Sorry.)

I find that more and more people are nosing into parallel parking spots instead of backing into them. To me, that is awkward and would make parking more difficult.

hahaha thats exactly what i told the guy when i did my driving test! 'i will go far out of my way to avoid this, please dont make me do it. i promise i never will'
he made me try - it was terrible - i ended up getting through it by being able to back in a straight line :o)
and to this day i still have yet to parallel park!!!
