There was this girl I quite .... liked. We got on well, and then suddenly I found out she was leaving. I felt really upset but I got her contact details (well e-mail) but now it's the end of the year and I'm really starting to miss her. She hasn't replied to a single e-mail I have sent her ever and I feel really upset because I still want to be friends with her. Some of my other friends know her and her sister (they live near) but I don't dare tell them about this whole thing because I'm scared of coming out. Anyway, I'm really missing her and I feel I've just let her pass by without really getting to know her and being really good friends with her. What should I do?

I've seen a couple of rude comments about african americans when reading answers to questions and it amazes me that people still have such feelings about another race. What did black people do that was so wrong that some whites still hate to this day? Help me understand.

I have parents of different ethnic groups; one is Angelo and the other is Mexican American. I refuse to answer the question that asks me to fill in one because I feel I am both. I have been told since I was a small boy to fill in one or the other depending on what it is for. If applying for a loan, for example, I've been told to put Angelo. If applying for an educational program to put of Mexican descent. I simply try to leave it blank but I have been told I have to pick one.

It appears to be one of the major topics of all time especially prevelent in questions on this website. Sometimes I wonder if thoughts of sex occupy peoples minds more often than other intellectual, spiritual or personal interests do. I also wonder, if so, how healthy this is. although i do not quite believe in marriage, i do see how it can be benificial to the majority of coupled same sex people. seriously all we really need or request is the ability to have out partners as beneficiaries/guardians of our children/heirs to what we have/and the ability to see us in the freakin hospital in emergent cases. Seriously is calling it marriage all that great? We just need some better rights. I don't want to get married, but i do like the idea that my partner is my partner in life and not some guy i hooked up with and can't do anything when i really need them.

i don't care who answers this just take into consideration.
if you were to go to the hospital and be in intensive care and the only person you wanted with you was denied access because he was not family. what about when you die?

if we give people a meens to help themselves it will only create a more cunning people that want more. We are not a happy culture with our money. We have more suicide, mental illness, violence in our "advanced" culture...what is so wrong with letting the world controll the population? Trust in it. It will create a disease to wipe out who needs to be wiped out. The people that have the power are not immune to disease. The world will take are of itself.

Ok, I came out a little while ago and its all been going well. but, me and my ex girlfriend didn't go out much as she was somewhat older and preferred to stay in. I do not have any gay friends in the town where i live and it is difficult to meet people. i have recently met someone off of the net and she is taking me out tomorrow to introduce me to the 'gay scene'. i have been reading loads of posts on the net and im really nervous about what to wear and how to act, as they all say it can be quite clicky and i dont want to make a fool of myself.
