Forget "Annie", go for "Funny Girl".

It is never to late to make any dream come true. However I dought you land the role of Annie herself. You most likely will end up with Daddy Warbucks, or other part. I highly encourage you to look around your local area theaters. There may be a children's theater or music theater near by, and I can assure you they always need help. you may have to start out small, but go for it. Make the dream a reality

So you want to be in "Annie". Nothing wrong with that. Perform as "Daddy Warbucks".

If you don't do anything about fulfilling your dream, then it is a pipe dream.

The only person who can answer your sexual orientation is you.

Not a pipe dream. You could still play Daddy Warbucks or FDR.
