I had a theft under $300 charge in NY 8 years ago, and I was sentenced to do 24 comm. service, I never did them cause I moved back to MD with my family, and now I enlisted in the Navy a week ago, and this popped up, so ,y recruiter is seeing what can be done, because I have to leave for basic training in June, but I have the feeling that i might have to do these hours before I can leave.

Ok, so I am very interested in joining the Peace Corps next year...I am graduating from a liberal arts college this May and would like to do something productive and engaging after graduation. I go to a very academically rigorous institution, and my GPA has been very average. In addition, unfortunately, I have not been that involved in many school groups or functions. I am wondering if there is a chance that the Peace Corps would accept me or should I just forget about it. I would love to work in the public health field in the Peace Corps...any hope?
