First of all we all should be honest to our country and our duties. Our Politicians should be honest and think for the country not for themselves. Then no one can stop us being superpower as we have all resources.

We are already a super power. Where else in the world can you find the balance that India has. Rich in Minerals, Heritage and Spirituality a country that has indigeneous production of every kind, atomic capability, Intellectional supremacy, the strength of our millions of people combined the wealth of our knowledge we are a super power.
Yes our bueracrats and politicians need to change then we will be the real super power. Jai Hind.

No. Many areas there no public toilets, too much poverty. Too much indifference. Pakistan issues. China for now has the fastest growth in my opinion and the one to watch for. India still into who your father was, social status. China is more diversified and more wanting western goods and values. India gets many of it's needs (foods) from the USA, if they can not feed themelves why would they be a superpower?

There can be a SUPERPOWER if Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan and India combine their efforts.
The pre-requisite to ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT is POLITICAL STABILITY and PEACE.
Religion should not be combined with any DEVELOPMENT.
Good values of Trust and Respect and good Business practices, Mutual Benefits are the pillars of Development.

Only I wish. Buts its a dream far from reality.China is ahead of us in many things.Still we are dependant in many technologies.Our Economic tigers, manmohan and chidambaram are interested to furnish only industrialists... not the poor, not the farmers. When they show america as the examples for everything, they forget to mention american farmer gets 400% subsidy than us.. still he is getting fair price to sell. where as in india, farmer get very low price.. but then the commodities price keep increasing. the growth they project outside is not nutrition, its a cancer. Look at UAE, they have made forests in deserts... we have made forests in to deserts. still we can hope for the best.... if there is a movement, unlike the chotta chotta movements, a mass movement, that get the support of comman man. yes its possible.. but sure not in our life time.

If any country has the resources then it is China, the chances of india becoming a superpower are there, but america will make sure that neither china or india become superpower

If they get rid of their stupid religious ideas. There degrading ways of treating women. Clean up there country and there people. Get rid of that giant chip on there shoulder.And treat other people better would be a beginning.
