Is there a place I could donate Indian clothes in Chicago area? If there isnt a reputable Indian organization, should I just donate them to Goodwill or other American donation organization?

why are all firefighters huge? Im from Georgia....and just about ALL firefighters are insanley buff. I was in chick-fil-a the other day...and these firemen walked in and i dont think one of them was under 6'2'' and the smallest one didnt look less than 200 pounds

Would you use an environmentally friendly, packaging free supermarket?
i.e. one where you brought in your old coffee jars, detergent bottles, egg boxes, washing powder boxes etc etc and had them filled up. It wouldn't sell everything, but most of what you need. If you had no container, it would be supplied in a paper bag, or in a container you could re-use next time. Products would be the same trusted brand names that are sold everywhere else, not cheaper, inferior versions.
Concerns about food in tamper-free containers would be addressed.
Please answer honestly as I'm opening this shop next year, and this is my paper-free, environmentally friendly market research! (Well, it's relatively green compared with mailshots, paper surveys etc..)

Myself and few friends in UK have just set up an organisation. We would like very much to help the children in our home country of Macedonia, as it is poor and a lot of children go to bed hungry. There is not enough medicine for children with leukemia, and orphans live in poor acomdations.
We are already organising events to raise money. The problem we have is that we don't know if we need to give them to another charity in Macedonia or could the trustees take the funds there themselfs and use them for where they are needed most. The country is buried in coruption and we don't want someone else to put the money in their pocket rather than use it for the children.

been looking it up, but it only seems to be tourist resorts (michigan, arizona, texas? minnesota?). I want to live in a place where I can ride a horse into a "city" right next to a car. Is that to much to ask? lol. Im not a cowboy, in michigan it looked like a nice place called Mackinac Island, you should check it out.

Ok I am doing a project for school about homelessness and if you could answer these questions that would be great. Any church groups, boy/girl scouts, or nonprofit type orginizations such as family shelters or food drives are what I'm looking for.

-1. How many people in need does your orginization serve?
-2. How large is your staff?
-3. What is the main source of support for your orginization?
-4. Do you work with any local, state, or federal government agencies?
-5. If you could improve your organization what would the improvement be?

This is a question that has one answer to it. I want your advice and I want to share a website with you.
It is a search engine called goodsearch.com. Yahoo works with it, providing the actual search results. If you search there you have the same results as if you use this site, but every time you search it donates one penny to the charity of your choice. It is the best website I have ever seen, with great results. Try it out and give me other donating tips please!

I keep hearing people say this, but haven't found any specific sources. I have only found information regarding corruption of NGOs in general, not specifically World Vision. Could someone provide links to legitimate sources proving/exposing corrupt World Vision practices?

I am a World Vision sponsor and a Christian, but I wouldn't want them using their position and someone else's vulnerability to convert people.

And don't bother with one word answers or some diatribe against Christians that has nothing to do with the question.

i got a call from the school my daughter was jumped she is 14, my other daughters are 19 ,17, the other girls are 17,17,15,,it started with beef between the older girls and when they wasnt around my youngest got jumped,, the kids had to stay out of school for a day!well later that day my older daughter got into with the 17 years girl whom lives next door that is one of the kids who tried to jump my youngest, they had words the girl brung a knife on her porch, the police was called, nothing happened, well the girl ended up cutting her self, and they r trying to blame it on my girls saying they drove her over the edge , mind u this is the same girl that started most of this in school, they want to press charges for stalking and haressment, which my kids havent had any contact at all with this people, but however this people are allowed to put video cameras aimed at my house, and talk smack to my kids,im trying to defuse this situation but the parents aint allowing that to happen,
