Locally in Kenya the drug, which is granulated capsule costs the equivalent of US$ 2.25 per capsule. A full dose of 30 capsules makes it too expensive. A cheaper affordable aternative would be most welcome. Any suggestions?

I understand that sports activities and scholarships get a lot of kids to college, but I believe that using the brain to achieve academic or fine arts excellence should receive equal importance. How can I get involved and make it happen in my community?

For those who served and are more familiar in the Philippines. There is a need of establishing a poor but noble school to educational training for academic certificates, associate degrees. They offer related computer literacy, automotive training, office administration (and more). Need your assistance, please.

This years theme is "Every Victim- Every Time"....My question is if you had to do something in your community to bring awareness to Victims of crime what would you do?

I think we all vow not to be a victim but unfortunately and realistically crime is out there and regardless whatever we try to do to prevent it sometimes it just catches us....

I am thinking of volunteering at a library or hospital, working with kids. Either that or signing up to a big sister program.
Do you volunteer? Do you sometimes resent the time that you give up for no money? Have things ever gone really badly and you regretted signing up?

Help please?
I volunteer at a nursing home for the elderly, I hold the bingos every other monday. I am concerned that there is a lack of involvment in this activity, only 9 people attend this game. I would like to draw more people together as this is a good way for them to interact. I believe it has to do with the prizes we give which are only dimes as their winnings. I would like to make it a special event for them 1 time a month. I want to be able to give them better prizes which I think is the key to getting them more involved. What I need is some good ideas of what would be a good gift to give them to make this a blast. I do not know much about what elderly people need or want. But i know that i can rely on all your ideas to help me. think of your family and friends and please tell me how whatI can do for both the men and women gifts to draw their attention to become more involved with there interaction

I have privately messaged users here at answers and when they respond they just send an answer but by that time I have forgotten who I messaged and the question so I wonder what it would take to get people to include the senders question or statement along with the answer?

I'm overseeing a teen summer volunteer group at a local hospital and I'm trying to come up with a catchy name for the teen program that will set them apart from the adult program...something other than "Youth Volunteers" or the like. Any suggestions? The hospital's name is Summit Medical Center. We're going to have the name embroidered on the shirts that will serve as their uniforms.

My name is Tori and i am apart of a wonderful small Church in Akron Ohio. We want to take our kids to a camp called camp wilson. This camp offers a staff for the pool and horseback riding and food services and we can worship and teach his word to our kids by taking them out of their comfort zone. Because we do not own our own camp we have to take them to this one so we are able to enjoy our summer ministry. It will cost about $300 per camper and we would like to take about 28 to 42 youth to this camp. This is a great oppurtunity not just for the youth in our church and our sister church but for the youth in our community. Please if anyone can help sponsor our kids or knows anyone willing to help us along please email me at tloven02@yahoo.com or just respond to this question. Help us Help our Youth.

Here is the options I have, my mom has offered to pay for a full college education, I can go anywhere I want, plus pay for a good apartment and get me a car; I am very grateful for this offer. But, I have always wanted to join the military to serve my country. I don't care about the whole Iraq crisis that doesn't bother me. However, should I risk my future or the future my mom is giving me. She absolutely doesn't want me to join, and I understand why. I have been planning to join the local Sheriff Department and one of the deputies who are a retired Marine said I am an idiot if I don't take my moms offer. I even thought about just do two years in the Army then take my moms offer. But, time is a very valuable thing to me, every second counts. I am worried once a do the military and college I won’t have enough time to do what I really want to do which is to be a Deputy Sheriff.

So what I am asking is if you were in my shoes what would you do.

I called 911 because there was a telephone pole shooting sparks from it. I told them that there was a telephone pole shooting alot of sparks and it smelled like something burning. They sent someone for an oder in the house, so the 911 person didn't hear the call right. A friend said that I called the wrong number, I should have called the electric company. I said 911 is an emergency number for emergencies, not just for medical reasons am I right or is 911 for medical reasons only.?

A Youth Association is not an NGO but we are non profit organisation, we survive through members contribution. These contributions are used to provide basic infrastruture facilities for the people in our community like portable water, maintaining roads, providing teaching materials to Schools, setting up needed vocational training centre etc
